He was shrouded in a chilling intent to kill, which caused the nearby Vivian and Lillian to instinctively grip Soren's hand tightly. Soren had always cared deeply about the people around him; Lulumiao might not have held a high status in Port Nyanzaru, but she was one of the earliest to enter his core circle. She was Vivian's partner and maid, and Soren had long since acknowledged her as an important member. Yet such a core member, and an underage young girl at that, had now been secretly implanted with a divine power seed and turned into a vessel for a deity's resurrection.
This was practically a direct challenge to Soren's bottom line!
Soren instantly locked onto a few suspected targets in his mind, and he turned to Vivian and said, "You two go outside first. I need to figure out who planted the divine power seed in Lulumiao."
Vivian and Lillian obediently walked out.

Directly afterward, Soren's entire body was enveloped in a golden glow, and he reached out to press his hand directly against Lulumiao's forehead, immediately plunging his spiritual energy into her mind.
Three streams of divine power manifested before Soren's eyes.
The first came from Lady of Silver Moon, a blessing of divine power directly bestowed upon Lulumiao.
The second came from Vivian, a bestowed power. After acquiring the power of the Fear portfolio, the little girl had granted a shred of divinity to Lulumiao, wanting to help her become a demigod.
The third was hidden the deepest, and it was entwined around Lulumiao's soul.
The problem lay right in this third stream of divine power. Lulumiao herself was entirely unaware of it, as it had been quietly planted at some point. Rather than a bestowal, it was more
