"Call!"

Soren immersed himself in the hot spring, letting out a long, comfortable sigh. He couldn't remember the last time he'd enjoyed himself like this. After the hardships of his journey, he'd only ever taken a quick shower, let alone soak in a luxurious hot spring. The pristine white Marble bath was a full ten meters wide, adorned with intricate carvings by master craftsmen to prevent slipping. Above him hung dazzling Crystal Lamp, masterpieces of Alchemy Craft, something only Imperial Palace could afford.

At the top of the bath is a sculpture of a goddess, her body draped in a thin veil revealing her graceful figure. Her hands are outstretched, supporting the flowing, clear hot spring water. This appears to be a sculpture of Goddess of Rivers and Springs, and it's estimated that only the royalty of Arendelle would place her beside the bath. The bath has a special design, with the hot spring water flowing continuously at a constant temperature, almost year-round. Beside it is a luxurious bed, flanked by two beautiful maids who hold expensive silk robes.

The warm water washed away his fatigue, and Soren felt languid all over.

Unfortunately, he didn't stay in there for long, because he eventually had to return to his original path; he didn't want to indulge in pleasure. As he stood up from the bath, two maids, their pretty faces slightly flushed, approached and helped him put on a smooth silk robe, one on each side. One of them led him to the bed, while the other gently massaged his back with her fingers. This was a special massage technique, very professional, making Soren feel his blood flow freely; they must have been specially trained maids.

This feels really comfortable.

Two maids massaged him vigorously with their slender hands, occasionally applying heavy pressure to certain acupoints. This technique originated from the temple and gradually spread among the nobility. Soren's breathing gradually evened out, and his body relaxed more than ever before, because he was now in a very safe environment. The Princess would not harm the person who saved her sister, even if her attitude wasn't particularly friendly. Relaxed, Soren quickly fell asleep. The two maids gently wiped away his sweat, then exchanged a glance and brought a soft velvet blanket from another room to cover him.

This isn't a guest room for rest; it's just a place for a massage and a short break. But since he's already asleep, there's no need to disturb him.

The night passed quickly.

The Princess emerged in a snow-white nightgown, its delicate lace hem trailing on the floor. Her long, smooth, silvery-white hair cascaded down, and her appearance softened, becoming more gentle and graceful, like a goddess just awakened. The maid on night watch stood up, slightly crouching and bowing, saying, "Your Her Majesty the Queen, would you like to bathe and change?"

The Princess gently shook her head and said slowly, "No need. Has that person gotten up? Summon the Captain of the Guard."

The maid quickly responded and left.

A short while later, the Captain of the Guard from yesterday approached and bowed slightly, saying, "Your Her Majesty the Queen, what are your orders?"

The Princess glanced at her, frowning slightly, and said, "Have someone prepare a reward, and then send that person away. Anna muttered his name hundreds of times last night. I'm worried that she's too young and could easily fall for someone because of this!... She's a princess of Arendelle, and will be Arendelle Queen in the future!... That Adventurer's identity is too strange!... He has a Slaughter aura that makes me uneasy!... Anna can't get too close to someone like that!..."

How could the future Queen of Arendelle get too close to an Adventurer burdened with misfortune, fear, and Slaughter?

Such people are almost always covered in blood; wherever they go, bloodshed follows!

The Princess shook her head firmly and said, "Give him a generous reward, and then send him away."

The Captain of the Guard the order and left.

The Princess seemed to hesitate for a moment, then said, "Have someone send him that weapon. I think he likes using Scimitar; this can be considered a reward for saving Anna."

Outside the room.

Soren was awakened by footsteps outside. The person seemed to have been there for a while but hadn't left, just waiting quietly. However, judging from their breathing, they were in a hurry, having raised their hand several times as if to knock. He slowly sat up, then reached out and touched the smooth, comfortable silk robe he wore. A wry smile appeared on his face, but his expression didn't show much anger. It was only barely dawn, and someone was so eager to wake him; the meaning behind it was self-evident.

The Princess didn't actually welcome him!

Soren took off his long robe and put on rough cloth and Leather Armor. He looked at the room, which exuded luxury, and murmured, "Once we get through this crisis, I'll prepare a room like this for Vivian."

This is the life Vivian should have.

Instead of following him through hardships and wanderings, trekking thousands of miles across snowy and windy lands, enduring the weariness and toil of wind, frost, rain, and dew.

A little girl who is only 8 years old.

But she never truly enjoyed life; in fact, she always had a very hard life.

Although she never complained.

Soren quickly changed his clothes and then slowly opened the door. Outside stood the dignified Captain of the Guard, her expression slightly surprised, but even more so upon seeing Soren's attire. This clearly indicated that she had guessed Her Majesty the Queen's intentions; the other was a very skilled Adventurer who had already sensed the Princess's desire for him to leave as soon as possible. Behind her were two maids carrying exquisite trays. One tray held a Scimitar, its exquisite scabbard revealing its extraordinary nature. The other tray held black silk gloves with strange inscriptions, seemingly also something remarkable.

"Her Majesty the Queen instructed me to..."

Just as the Captain of the Guard was about to speak, Soren interrupted her. In truth, he wasn't happy either, but he wasn't angry either.

He reached out and picked up the Scimitar, lightly stroking its scabbard with his fingers before drawing it with a clang. A faint light shone from the silvery blade. He gently ran his fingers across his hand, and a trickle of blood immediately welled up, followed by wisps of frost appearing on his palm. It was indeed Legendary Scimitar; it seemed the Princess was not a cruel person after all.

However, she didn't seem to want to get close to Princess Anna.

"I know." Soren glanced at the other man, sheathed his Scimitar, and then picked up the gloves from the other tray. His expressionless face said, "I will leave immediately and will not bother Princess Anna again."

The Captain of the Guard was speechless.

The other person's words made her unable to even utter the words the Princess had secretly instructed her to say. It was clearly embarrassing for her, after all, the other person had risked their Hit Points to save Princess Anna.

Soren glanced at the gloves and gently put them on.

As expected of Princess Her Majesty the Queen of Arendelle, the Princess immediately presented two Legendary- level pieces of equipment, and extremely rare Legendary Equipment.

Item type: Icetail [+2]

Item Tier: [Tier 2 Legendary Item]

Item Description: This is a weapon with Legendary history. Its former owner took it into the Abyss Hell, and its blade bears the blood of Demon and Devil, and faintly echoes with the murmurs of the Wraith. This is a Scimitar forged using the [Ice Forging] technique of the North, infused with Mithril during the forging process, making the blade both tough Sharpness, yet lighter than other weapons. This weapon is imbued with the power of ice; upon striking an enemy, it will inflict Cold Damage.

Equipment requirement: 10 or more Strength [Strength requirement -2].

Equipment effects: Mithril trait, Iceforged trait, +5 Sharpness, +5 Penetration, +3 Toughness, +2 Armor Piercing, +3 Cold Damage.

Weapon effect: [Icetail], when this weapon hits a weak enemy, there is a certain chance to freeze the enemy's blood, causing enemies with a maximum Hit Points of less than 20 points to die instantly.

Weapon Characteristics: [Sharpness], This weapon has a certain chance to cut through any non- Supernatural Weapon during combat. There is a slight possibility that it can cut through any weapon below the Legendary.

A very powerful Legendary Scimitar.

It was almost comparable to the two swords that Soren had forged in the Underdark. The Princess's reward to him was quite sincere. However, she did not treat Soren well and had not even said a word to him until now.

Item type: Battle Master's Gloves [+1].

Item Tier: [Tier 1 Legendary Item]

Item Description: Legendary Item crafted from extraordinary spider silk, utilizing a special Enchantment Craft to create a small Dimensional Space. The spider silk itself is extremely Toughness, capable of withstanding most attacks without breaking, and can even deflect some damage. It is very thin and light, feeling like a thin layer of skin when worn, and will not hinder combat in any way.

Equipment requirements: None.

Equipment effect: Toughness +1, Deflection +1.

Item effect: [Three feet of storage space]

When Soren put on the gloves, the Scimitar in his palm suddenly disappeared, and a Throwing Dagger appeared in its place. Then it disappeared from his palm again, and a Scimitar appeared in his left hand, followed by another Scimitar in his right hand, which immediately turned into a Throwing Dagger.

The rarest storage equipment in the world.

Its value is even higher than that of a storage ring, because only Adventurer skilled in combat know how much more useful storage gloves are than storage rings. Such Supernatural Item allow them to switch weapons at will, making them almost invincible in battle! The true value of this equipment is even higher than that of Legendary Scimitar, and the value of both pieces of equipment is almost equivalent to a low-ranking noble title plus a hereditary fiefdom.

Soren nodded silently.

He turned and glanced at the Imperial Palace, then walked outside; this was ultimately not a place for him.

The wind and snow enveloped his figure; he still had a long way to go.

Before leaving, he saw the Princess on the balcony. She was still as beautiful and noble as ever, and as aloof as ever. Soren bowed slightly in respect, then left without looking back.

He felt uncomfortable, but not angry, because he felt that the Princess was somewhat like himself.

Her meticulous protection of Princess Anna reminded Soren of his own Vivian. If he were in the Princess's shoes, he probably wouldn't want Vivian to get too close to those bloodthirsty Adventurer. Why let her enjoy a peaceful, comfortable princess life when she could be surrounded by Adventurer whose lives were forever intertwined with Slaughter?

Perhaps one day.

Such people will die somewhere; it is so common for Adventurer to be buried in the wilderness.

Soren's figure gradually faded into the distance.

The swirling snowflakes gradually enveloped him. The Imperial Palace guards looked up at the sky, then gazed at the Princess's position. If Her Majesty the Queen was also in a bad mood, then snowflakes might fall in Arendelle. The Princess was a very restrained person; outsiders rarely had the chance to discern her inner emotions from her face. She was always a gentle and kind Her Majesty the Queen, and even when facing the poor people of the kingdom, she could smile and bend down to look at them.

She was so beloved by Arendelle!

The Princess watched Soren leave, and only after he was almost out of the Imperial Palace gates did she let out a soft sigh.

"Elder Sister?!"

Just as the Princess was about to leave, Princess Anna's voice suddenly rang out. She emerged, wearing a lovely white nightgown, rubbing her eyes with her small hands, her bare white feet barely touching the ground. Still seemingly a little sleepy, she mumbled, "I just dreamt that Soren suddenly left!... Where is he?... I want to see him!..."

The Princess paused for a moment, and even the snowflakes dancing in the sky seemed to stop for a second.

She sighed softly and said slowly, "He's gone."

"What!?"

Princess Anna suddenly opened her eyes wide, and then a hint of tears welled up in her beautiful eyes. She sobbed as if she had been wronged, and then ran barefoot out of the Imperial Palace without a word, leaving behind the astonished Princess and a young maid holding an exquisite Crystal and shouting loudly, "Your Highness, you haven't put on your shoes yet!"

The young girl slid down the spiral staircase like a gust of wind, then lifted the hem of her nightgown with both hands and ran barefoot. She rushed out of the gate, shoved aside the guard beside her, and mounted a snow-white steed, galloping wildly towards the Imperial Palace gate. Behind her was the Princess, still in shock and not yet recovered from this sudden turn of events, and the young maid standing panting at the door, carrying her Crystal.

Princess Anna galloped to the Imperial Palace Imperial Palace gates, where guards were already blocking the way.

She sobbed softly, feeling a little wronged and upset. Seemingly annoyed, she dismounted and pushed them away. Then, barefoot, she ran up the stairs to the Imperial Palace City Wall. In the distance, a receding figure could be vaguely seen, but it was obscured by the wind and snow.

"Soren!"

Princess Anna cupped her hands around her mouth as if to amplify her voice, tears streaming down her beautiful eyes. She felt inexplicably wronged and heartbroken. Watching the figure recede into the snow, she suddenly cried out, "Soren!... I love you!!!... Will you marry me?!"

The Imperial Palace was deathly silent.

Only Princess Anna's voice still echoed in the wind and snow.

The Princess gaped in astonishment, frozen in place, her expression one of utter shock.

In the wind and snow.

The figure, who had been walking away, suddenly froze for a moment, then stopped in place. You could vaguely see him turn around, then slightly bow, placing his palm on his heart—an ancient knightly salute.

Princess Anna's eyes were still filled with tears. Standing on the Imperial Palace City Wall, her petite figure trembled slightly in the biting wind. With all her might, she shouted, "Soren!... I'll be sixteen next year!... You must come and marry me when I come of age!..."

Waaaaah.

Princess Anna finally burst into tears. She pushed aside the terrified guards around her, then wiped her eyes and ran into the Imperial Palace.

She is a princess of Arendelle.

She will be the Queen of Arendelle in the future!

She didn't really understand what liking someone meant, let alone love, but she had an impulse in her heart. She felt so uncomfortable inside, and it would be even more uncomfortable if she didn't say it out loud.

She is Princess Anna.

She is a princess who dares to act and take responsibility. Others may not understand her courage, but she is truly brave.

She also possessed the pride of a princess, for she asked Soren, "Do you dare to marry me?" This was a heavy responsibility. As one of the two jewels of Arendelle and the future Her Majesty the Queen, she was no ordinary girl. Marrying her required not only strength but also great courage!

She was also a traditional young woman.

Because what she wanted was not a romantic relationship, she followed the ancient traditions of Arendelle.

She is very naive.

Because she believed that love should lead to a sacred marriage, she shouted to the person she loved, "Do you dare to marry me?"

She is a brave girl, but she is actually very scared.

She is Anna.

One of Arendelle's two jewels, the most dazzling princess, she may not be the most powerful, nor the most beautiful, nor even particularly intelligent.

But she is who she is; she is the one and only Princess Anna!
