Two-Weapon Fighting
Ding ding ding!
Soren was finally cornered, his retreat completely cut off by the enemy. He could only parry the relentless attacks with his sword. Blind Fight is a very powerful Feat, with astonishing effects in certain situations, such as against invisible enemies, or when facing darkness spells, Blindness, or dimly lit environments. This Feat can be surprisingly effective. Soren had spent a great deal of time mastering Blind Fight techniques because without this Feat in the Underdark, one's combat effectiveness drops by 30%.
This Feat requires a certain level of perception; it is very difficult for people with low perception to master!
Soren was now essentially locked onto by his opponent's senses. The enemy, using Blind Fight techniques, completely blocked out the sound of his retreating footsteps, the wind whistling around him, the slightest movement of the air, and so on. To Tier 4 Professional, these subtle traces were clearly detected. In fact, because his eyes were closed, his perception of the outside world became even more acute. As Soren was forced to parry the attack with his sword, his figure broke out of Stealth mode, and a hazy afterimage appeared.
The female pirate with fiery red hair suddenly opened her eyes, and a glint of light flashed in them!
--"Sword Momentum: Whirlwind Dance!"
--"Improved Sunder!"
The opponent's twin blades flashed with a cold light as he spun rapidly. His toes pushed off the wooden barrel, propelling him upwards in a descent, spinning once in mid-air. His twin blades sliced through the surrounding planks, simultaneously striking towards Soren's waist. This was a fighting technique of the Swashbuckler, but it had evolved and been mastered by other melee fighters. ' Sword Momentum: Whirlwind Dance ' was a deadly move for Two-Weapon Fighting, capable of unleashing a continuous and ferocious combo in an instant.
Clang!
Soren managed to Parry only once, while simultaneously taking a slash to the chest. Two-Weapon Fighting reduces burst power, and his opponent's left-hand slash had only managed to cut slightly into the muscle layer after penetrating his Stoneskin. Blood splattered out. Soren barely had time to retaliate, abruptly retreating from the cabin. Fighting an agile Two-Weapon Fighting in such a confined space was extremely disadvantageous, especially since his opponent was a true master of Two-Weapon Fighting. Soren hadn't even acquired the Two-Weapon Fighting Feat yet.
"Trying to run away!?"
The female pirate with fiery red hair gave a sharp shout and swung her twin swords in a crisscross motion, giving Soren almost no time to react.
This is the advantage of Two-Weapon Fighting.
Because the speed of the continuous attacks was too fast, without obvious suppression capabilities, one would be overwhelmed by the opponent's relentless attacks and have no chance to retaliate, only able to wait until the opponent ran out of steam and created an opening. The female pirate seemed to realize that Soren's conditioned reflexes were amazing. Suddenly, she brought her two swords together, and in the blink of an eye, with a click, they transformed into a Heavy Scimitar. At the same time, she changed from holding the sword with one hand to holding it with both hands, and directly slashed diagonally towards his throat.
Yuanyang Sabers?!
Soren's pupils contracted slightly. He ducked sharply to avoid the blade, simultaneously stomping his foot on the deck, causing a crack to appear in the sturdy surface. Then, Soren charged headfirst into his opponent's arms. This explosive movement left no room for a proper sword strike, but Soren's head hurtled into his opponent's embrace like a cannonball. The female pirate was sent flying backward, crashing into the cabin door with a thud, cracking the wooden planks behind her.
Click.
A very clear and distinct sound of bones breaking.
Soren's headbutt shattered four or five of his opponent's ribs. The female pirate hadn't expected such an attack and hadn't even had time to react. Soren suddenly abandoned his Scimitar and rammed his head into her chest. The force of the impact threw her off balance, her back slamming into the wooden plank. The broken ribs damaged her lungs, instantly draining her strength and making it difficult for her to breathe.
Slurp!
The blade flashed and slashed towards Soren's back from behind.
--"Kidney Shot!"
--"Vampiric Touch!"
Soren's Scimitar vanished suddenly. He shifted his leg slightly, assuming a simple horse stance, and then threw a punch at his opponent's kidneys. The next moment, the female pirate with fiery red hair was curled up like a shrimp. Her face turned bright red, and her eyes rolled slightly upwards. Like a dead fish with its eyes rolled back, her whole body went limp. This powerful punch was only delivered by Soren; if it had been delivered by Monk's One-Inch Punch, the opponent would have been instantly killed!
"Fight back!"
Soren's chest wound gradually stopped bleeding. Although he was unarmed, he swiftly struck his opponent's abdomen with both elbows, then twisted his hand behind his back, snapping his arm with a crack. He interrupted his opponent's breathing with another elbow strike, leaving him no time to breathe. He then grabbed the other arm, twisting it at the joint and dislocating it completely.
Thump!
The female pirate with fiery red hair lay motionless on the ground before them, her eyes visibly white, clearly having already passed out.
"It seems like there's no harm in learning hand-to-hand combat."
Soren simply lifted the female pirate in front of him with one hand, pinched her chin, and muttered, "The close-quarters techniques of Grand Master of Fist are indeed very useful. They can actually force the enemy to have no interval to attack. It seems that if I fight against Monk in the future, I should use Dagger when we get too close."
An inch shorter is more dangerous, an inch longer is more powerful.
If Grand Master of Fist closes in to elbow-length, that is, in close combat, long weapons become completely useless. This is because when you wield a weapon, the first thing you move is your arm and elbow. Against Grand Master of Fist's joint strikes and One-Inch Punch short-range power, the longer your weapon, the less opportunity you have to attack. In fact, shorter daggers and short Dagger are more effective. Soren just used the fighting techniques of Grand Master of Fist. He once met a near- Legendary Grand Master of Fist with Vivian, who gave Vivian a book of boxing techniques. However, the young girl hardly ever read it; only Soren flipped through it quite a bit.
The world's Grand Master of Fist are just as dangerous as Swordmaster!
However, they are not very aggressive.
Clang!
Soren used his foot to lift the twin swords from the ground, glanced at them, and muttered, "They really are the Yuanyang Sabers! It seems rare to see someone wielding such weapons. Her identity doesn't seem simple."
Yuanyang Sabers.
That's what Soren called it; the original name of this weapon was actually the Interlocking Sabers.
This is a relatively rare, unconventional weapon, more common outside of the Eastern Desert. It features a unique ring at the hilt, and both blades have specially made inner hilts, making it a rather fierce infantry combat weapon. Separately, it consists of two long swords; when joined, they form a single, heavy battle sword, somewhat resembling a two-handed combat style using a broadsword. In this world, swords are generally classified into two types: Straight-bladed Sword and Scimitar.
Therefore, many knives have local names, and not many people deliberately name them.
Therefore, the weapon she used was Scimitar, leaning towards Exotic Weapon.
"They don't look like Desert Race."
Soren lifted the female pirate in front of him and examined her, even pulling open her clothes to check for tattoos. Eastern Pirate had distinctive markings, and their fighting style was completely different from that of the pirate groups on the West Coast. He continued eastward along the desert, where the fighting techniques became more refined the closer he got to the east. That was the birthplace of the Monk, a vast Desert Region that seemed to have once been home to a civilization, but which had been destroyed by Ancient Evil Creature.
Eastern Pirate are skilled in using Scimitar, and many of them are experts in Greater Two-Weapon Fighting.
This even includes Monk who fight using Kama.
"Never mind."
Soren frowned as he glanced at her, then cut off a section of rope and bound the female pirate in front of him like a pretzel, wrapping it around her almost from head to toe, leaving almost no gaps. He hadn't studied the art of bondage much, but he was worried that she might know how to escape, so he could only use the simplest and most brutal method of binding her like a pretzel. This female pirate might come in handy, because Soren still had quite a few plans in mind.
The fog gradually thickened.
A Wraith spirit appeared, followed by Ghost Ship nearby.
Only a dozen minutes had passed, and there were no survivors on the pirate ship in front of her. The Naga Banshee's eyes were filled with disbelief, as if she could hardly believe that Soren had killed an entire ship of pirates in such a short time.
--"Animate Rigging!"
A cable shot out from the Ghost Ship, wrapped around the Red-Haired Female Pirate, and hoisted her to the Ghost Ship's mast.
These cables are incredibly powerful; it takes at least 18 points of strength to break free. Without a weapon to cut them, ordinary pirates could easily be strangled or hanged from them. These cables are part of the Animated Ghost Ship, resembling Hit Points- like objects, like tentacles, possessing astonishing flexibility and strength—a trump card against low-level enemies.
"Gained over 10,000 Slaughter Experience!"
Soren glanced at his profile page, a smile spreading across his face. He thought to himself, "As expected, killing is the fastest way to accumulate Slaughter Experience. In less than twenty minutes, I've already earned over ten thousand Slaughter Experience points. If I encounter some pirate ships along the way, maybe I can raise my Wizard Level by another level."
There are a large number of humanoid creatures.
There were nearly thirty or forty pirates on the ship. If we spread that out evenly, each of them would get at least two or three hundred Slaughter Experience points. Soren easily got more than twelve thousand Slaughter Experience points.
This deal is definitely worth taking!
