Serpent Island is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a natural harbor on the leeward side.

This port, developed by human hands, can accommodate three to five warships and has long been contested by various pirate forces. Narwhal only recently seized control of it. Originally an insignificant pirate, he rose to power after betraying his former leader, quickly winning over, suppressing, and dividing other pirate factions while robbing fellow ships to expand his wealth. Pirates value profit above all else; whoever can lead them to prosperity will gain their support.

The Narwhal was able to take over Serpent Island by winning over and absorbing many small groups of pirates, gradually becoming a well-known pirate leader.

This is somewhat similar to the bandits in the desert.

Small groups of bandits gradually grew into large ones through mergers and acquisitions, eventually becoming a formidable force in the desert.

The port on Serpent Island is rather rudimentary.

There were pirates left behind nearby. Pirates typically take turns going out to sea, so their stronghold definitely needs guards; otherwise, an enemy sneaking in and setting fire to their hard-earned stronghold could be burned down. Under Narwhal were two other pirate leaders, small groups he had subdued and recruited, essentially second and third in command. Upon spotting the ships in the distance, the remaining pirates immediately sent out a signal, and preparations were made for them to dock at the port.

These pirates, of course, were unaware that the Narwhal had already been killed by Soren!

"Carlos! Where's the boss?"

A fierce pirate, missing half a little finger, looked at the bow of the ship and shouted from the harbor, "Why are you back so soon today?"

A young man with a shrewd look stepped forward from the pirate ship. He walked to the bow and shouted, "The boss is on that ship at the back! We've had some good luck today; we ran into a bunch of fat sheep as soon as we set sail. The boss seized their cargo ship, but it's loaded with goods. It can't outrun us on the sea!"

The pirate missing his little finger glanced around and, sure enough, spotted another ship approaching from behind.

"Tsk tsk."

He glanced at the bow of the boat and shouted, "Looks like you guys made a killing on this job! You've got to buy me a drink later!"

The young man smiled and said, "No problem."

soon.

The pirate ship docked at the harbor, and a group of people disembarked—all of them Narwhal's men. The pirates stationed at the harbor also came over. The pirate missing his little finger laughed loudly, walked up to the young man, patted him on the shoulder, and said, "How's it going? What are the casualties? Looks like none of you are injured. Did you make a good profit? Did you catch any pretty women? Hehe!"

Most of the pirates who came down were unharmed.

Soren can now kill most of these people with a single strike, his strength is close to that of a near- Legendary Domain, and he is qualified to be the leader of a force.

"Hey-hey."

The young man smiled, gently moving his hand back. Two other people leaned closer. He chuckled, "Women! There's one who's very beautiful!... But!..."

Thump!

A Dagger plunged into the man's waist, striking his kidney directly. Two other pirates pounced, pinning him down and unleashing a flurry of Dagger. The young pirate, Carlos, grinned maliciously, ruthlessly slitting the man's throat with his dagger. He then said in a low voice, "But you're not qualified to try!... The Narwhal is dead!... We pledge our allegiance to a more powerful Wizard!... Perhaps he will be a new Pirate King!..."

Even the Pirate King is only in the Legendary Domain.

Those who surrendered could sense that Soren was displaying near- Legendary strength.

A flurry of flashing swords!

The pirates who had just disembarked instantly turned against them, ambushing and killing the remaining enemies in the harbor in a matter of moments. They never imagined that their companions, who had only recently set sail, would now turn on them, and the news of the Narwhal's death shocked them. They were completely caught off guard, and the pirates were wiped out in a one-sided massacre.

"Very good."

Soren stepped off the deck. He looked at the young man named Carlos and said in a deep voice, "From now on, you are the first mate of this ship, and you will lead all these men. Prepare to take Serpent Island. Those who surrender will be spared. Those who refuse will be killed."

A hint of joy appeared on the young man's face, and he lowered his head humbly, saying, "I certainly will not let you down."

He made the right bet.

Soren's Bloodhand from beginning to end greatly shocked them. The young man also keenly sensed an opportunity: apart from the Red-Haired Female Pirate, this incredibly powerful Wizard didn't have many capable men. If he could prove his worth, he could be given an important position. The actions just now were suggested and arranged by him, Soren undoubtedly thought highly of him for this, directly appointing him as the first mate of the pirate ship.

Don't overestimate the limits of these pirates.

Another warship began to dock. Adele's fiery red hair flew in the wind as she jumped off the bow. Several skilled pirates followed, the main force of whom were close to the Tier 2 tier, equivalent to the strength of City Guard. Adele wore tungsten steel armor. Because her breasts were noticeably fuller than those of ordinary women, possessing a certain Amazon Women voluptuousness, she had to tightly wrap them with strips of cloth; otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to fit into the armor at all.

Women's armor is specially made, with space left for the breasts in the chest area; this particular piece of armor was designed for men.

Even so.

Adele felt a little awkward in the armor, which looked rather strange, but she didn't care too much. In battle, life and death are at stake, so who cares about the appearance of their armor? As long as it keeps them alive, that's enough. For a woman like her with a fuller bust and a taller figure, ordinary armor would look awkward unless it was custom-made like the Amazon Storm Lord armor, in which case it wouldn't have too much of an impact.

Soren slowly drew his Scimitar.

A group of pirates, stunned by the swift and Stun action, drew their weapons. Many hesitated, but upon noticing Soren's icy gaze, their expressions gradually hardened. This resolve stemmed not from anything else, but solely from fear. They were certain that if they disobeyed orders, they would be mercilessly slaughtered by the man before them. Killer Whale were still swimming outside the harbor; they had no chance of escape. They had witnessed too much death, but never such a ruthless killer. The sight of countless heads had terrified them.

"Attack!"

Soren gave the order in a deep voice, and the pirates began to advance. Adele, seemingly wanting to prove her worth, actually charged to the front. It seemed that Soren's promotion of two people today had put pressure on her. Although she was still the strongest person besides Soren, she was only around the fourth tier in strength, while there were also third-tier minor leaders among these pirates. If she couldn't prove her worth, Adele felt that she might be replaced by Soren.

A group of pirates began to move forward quickly.

Inside Serpent Island is a camp, the lair of the Narwhal, where hundreds of people remain.

Clang!

Soren drew his Scimitar.

His figure vanished into thin air, then he sped toward the camp gate. The Wooden Wall in front of him was two stories high. Soren leaped over it with ease, then mercilessly cleaved the Guard in front of the gate to death with a single stroke.

Thump, thump, thump.

Soren wielded his twin swords like a whirlwind, leaving limbs and torsos in his wake. He instantly killed the six Guard at the gate. Adele's agile figure appeared behind them as the pirates charged in, followed by the Half-Elf Kasa, who led a group to cover their retreat. Anyone who dared to back down would be shot dead by the archers.

A massacre began.

Soren's gaze was cold and ruthless as he silently counted the number of heads, his figure leaping between the rooftops Wooden Wall, killing all the archers one by one. After the Narwhal was taken down, only the two big bosses remained. Many of the remaining pirates were caught off guard, either captured or killed on the spot.

"Are you all insane? You bunch of scum! Are you trying to rebel?"

A very Toughness man appeared, wielding a heavy axe. He roared and charged forward, yelling, "Where's the Narwhal? Have all his men gone mad? Why are they attacking their own people?!"

--"Hide from Gaze."

--"Shadow Shift".

His answer was a cold glint of light; Soren's figure appeared in the twisted shadows and then ended the third-tier part-time Barbarian's life with a single strike.

One hit, one kill!

Soren silently pulled his Scimitar from the man's heart, then glanced around and slowly said, "Surrender and you will not die."

"Surrender and you will not die!"

"Surrender and you will not die!!!"

Seeing Soren kill his former second-in-command with a single blow, the pirates' resolve to betray their former comrades only strengthened. They realized that Serpent Island was about to have a Boss. Now, whoever could prove himself first would rise to a higher position, and Carlos's recent promotion had already ignited their greed.

The battle continues!

Soren silently reaped heads, but not from those on the battlefield, but from those trying to escape.

Soon, more and more enemies began to collapse.

Some threw down their weapons, while others continued to fight desperately, but their deaths were only a matter of time. The third-in-command of Serpent Island didn't seem to be there, and his men didn't know where he was. These were minor matters; after subduing all the pirates, Soren immediately ordered the warehouse and the Narwhal's bedroom sealed off.

As expected.

The most valuable things on the entire Serpent Island are all here.

From this moment forward, the entire Serpent Island will belong to him, and these pirates will become his henchmen.

Their rise overseas is their first card to play.
