Transmute Mud to Rock
The busy construction continues.
Soren himself felled the logs at a remarkably fast pace, and the number of pirate henchmen responsible for transporting and processing them increased to over a hundred. The logs were transported back to the camp, where the craftsmen or skilled artisans he had brought with him cut them into timber. Some were even driven into the ground to build fences—the kind about five meters high with simple Arrow Tower. Pirates frequently established camps on overseas islands, so many of the pirate henchmen were skilled in this kind of work.
Soren was busy chopping wood over there, practicing his Sword Momentum skills as well.
Vivian, after reading for a while, grew bored. She took out a scroll, glanced at it, and then walked out of the tent. Many pirates held this adorable little girl in awe, firstly because those who disrespected her were thrown into the sea to feed the fish by Soren, and secondly because this seemingly harmless and cute girl was a terrifying Wizard. Her status was aloof and independent of the pirate group; even the Half-Elf first mate would answer her questions respectfully.
"Hmm."
Vivian tilted her head, watching the busy Slave and pirate henchmen outside. To be honest, their work efficiency wasn't high. Although this world had Alchemy machinery similar to excavators, those were things only high-level Spellcaster could afford. Currently, the entire camp was being built entirely by manual labor, relying on only some simple tools. Even the drainage ditch running from the tents was dug out with hoes. Under these circumstances, it's easy to imagine that the construction efficiency was low, and the manpower consumption was considerable.
The little girl looked at it for a while, then pulled out a thick book out of thin air, about the thickness of a Xinhua Dictionary. It had a rather strange title written on it, but the meaning was still roughly discernible. The cover read "<The Wizard Tower Construction Techniques Guide and Golem Guard **". The book had probably not been stored very well; some of the lettering on the cover was worn away, and there were some stains on the front, suggesting it was a very old book.
Wizard ' knowledge is extremely valuable, especially the books Wizard need. These books are generally not printed; they are mostly handwritten, bit by bit.
This is the culmination of their lifetime's wealth!
Soren was a person who respected knowledge, so although the little girl didn't particularly enjoy reading, she cherished all her books.
She's a good girl who listens to her brother!
Vivian found a place to sit down, then put her small knees together and opened the thick, heavy book, which was bigger than her little face. She flipped through the pages very quickly, turning about a hundred pages in no time. Then she stopped on one page, raised her little white finger and pointed to a line of text, then turned to the next page, which contained many words and pictures. The little girl frowned and looked at it for a while. Then she murmured, "The best material for building Wizard Tower is not any kind of stone, but stone made using the Spell of Transmute Mud to Rock. This kind of stone is extremely strong. After a simple enchantment, it can reach a strength greater than Marble."
She turned to the second page and continued reading, "If combined with the **** craftsmanship left over from the Arcane Empire era, Transmute Mud to Rock can make Spell created stones as strong as steel. *********This technique requires some special materials. *********Some of the techniques are recorded in *********"
I don't know if it was deliberately erased or accidentally damaged over time.
The information about the Transmute Mud to Rock Alchemy then transforming it into steel through Spell, regarding its strength, had all been reduced to indistinct stains. Vivian's brows furrowed as she read this. She angrily exclaimed, "Which bastard put this down?!"
She raised her little hand and kept flipping through the pages, but the pages had already turned to the layout of the Wizard Tower, and she didn't mention the overall construction materials of the Wizard Tower at all. The little girl was so angry that she threw the thick book directly into the Dimensional Pouch, and then rested her chin on her little hand and said, "It's a pity that I still don't have enough Spell Slot, otherwise I could help my brother build the camp with the Transmute Mud to Rock."
"Hmm."
"I think it was recorded in the book that Elder Sister Goria showed me. This Spell transforms the soil based on the spell's level and intensity, and it seems to be about 2 cubic feet per point. I wonder how large an area I can transform?"
"Hmm. I'll give it a try when I have time."
The little girl tilted her head and muttered to herself for a while, then seemed to feel a little sleepy and walked into the tent.
She's been sleeping a lot lately, but what makes her happy is that she's grown taller.
"Transmute Mud to Rock [5th-level Spell]: The Spellcaster can transform mud into stone. This transformation is permanent, and each point of Spell power can transform 2 cubic feet of mud. Many building materials, including the structure of Wizard Tower, are made using Transmute Mud to Rock. This Spell effect is permanent and cannot be reversed by Spell such as Dispel Magic."
"Call!"
Soren caught his breath and sheathed his Scimitar. He had already cut down a large number of trees nearby. Perhaps because everything had to start from scratch, he felt a sense of returning to the era of slash-and-burn agriculture and logging. Actually, the fastest way would have been to rely on the power of Wizard, but he didn't have one at his disposal, so he could only use this most rudimentary method to establish the camp. Among the 5th-level Spell of the Wizard was ' Transmute Mud to Rock,' a Spell that could directly transform soil into rock.
At that time, there were guilds with deep Spellcaster built a City Wall in a single day using Spell alone.
However, the Spell Slot remains a major limitation.
If the Goddess of Magic dies, Spell Slot will be converted into Mana. At that time, although the Wizard's spellcasting ability will be weakened, they will have much more freedom in casting spells. If all the Mana is put into the 5th-level Spell ' Transmute Mud to Rock ', only a small number of Wizard can achieve amazing results. In the past, the Wizard's creative ability was an indispensable part of the pioneering tactics, especially in the expansion into Outer Planes and the Abyss Hell.
Soren sheathed his sword and glanced behind him; the pirate minions were still busily moving logs.
He took a deep breath, then checked his profile and found a new line of text had appeared:
"Training successful!"
"You have obtained partial information about [Sword Momentum: Horizontal Slash]!..."
"Training successful!"
"You have obtained partial information about [Sword Momentum: Horizontal Slash]!..."
"Training successful!"
"You have mastered the Combat Skill [Sword Momentum: Horizontal Slash]!..."
Sword Momentum: Horizontal Slash!
A relatively basic Sword Momentum Combat Skill is actually a prerequisite for mastering the Sword Momentum: Waist Cut.
This is the easiest Sword Momentum technique to master when logging. Its combat effect is similar to the Sword Momentum: Heavy Slash. His strength has been enhanced to Soren's current standard, especially after his attributes have been improved. These basic Sword Momentum techniques have been integrated into his normal attacks. Because this kind of power generation technique no longer puts too much burden on him, and with sufficient attribute values as a foundation, he has slightly skipped the previous requirement of charging up and releasing power. As long as he doesn't use it continuously, he can coordinate it with his normal attacks.
There are actually many kinds of Sword Momentum.
It is applicable to most weapon attacks. Melee professionals who have not trained in combat Feat should train and master sufficient Combat Skill.
It is said that there are more than a hundred Sword Momentum, and the key to Swordmaster's advancement to Legendary lies in comprehending these basic Sword Momentum!
Soren doesn't have strict requirements for Sword Momentum, but mastering more of them will undoubtedly increase your combat power. Moreover, many powerful Combat Skill in the future require basic Sword Momentum to complement them. For example, mastering the Sword Momentum: Horizontal Slash will greatly enhance the effect of understanding and using the Sword Momentum: Decapitation in the future. Many Sword Momentum skills are interconnected.
Yellow sand swirled everywhere.
A slightly hunched figure moved forward on the edge of the vast desert. His face didn't appear very old, but it was etched with the marks of time and weariness. His hair looked like it hadn't been washed in a long time, with stubble on his chin and dust in it. He wore mottled armor, with slash marks on his shoulder armor, and bandages wrapped around his arms, from which a faint trace of blood seeped. The once bright silver armor now seemed dull, clearly neglected and in very poor condition. A Longsword hung at his waist, and he frequently looked up into the distance, his hand seemingly always hovering over the hilt, ready to grip the sword and fight at any moment.
This is a young Paladin.
Or rather, he was once a Paladin, but now he is just a wandering Warrior.
He seemed to have been gone for a long time.
Even his sturdy and durable boots were almost worn out, but he still didn't stop, as if something extremely important was waiting for him ahead.
A strong wind whipped up sand and dust, and soon he was covered in a layer of gray dust.
The young Warrior shook his clothes, sending the dust to the ground, and continued silently onward. His lips were chapped, and there were traces of blood at the corners of his mouth, but he didn't drink any water, as he was running low on fluids. He walked on and on, stopping to camp when it got dark, eating some dry rations. He didn't need a tent; he would simply lie down in a corner, fully clothed, and fall asleep, his hands always gripping his sword, which he held to his chest as he slept.
I don't know how long he's been gone.
He stopped when a middle-aged man with an aged face appeared before him. He knelt on one knee, planted his Longsword in the ground, and placed his hand on his chest— Paladin's salute. The man seemed to have anticipated his arrival, and asked in a hoarse voice, "What have you learned along this journey?"
The young Paladin raised his head.
There seemed to be a hint of sadness in his eyes, but more so a Perseverance. He slowly said, "There is something called Justice, Justice requires great power!"
(P. S.: I had a lot to do today, and it took me ages to finish this first update. It's been 11 days since I quit smoking, and I've gained over a pound.) (To be continued~^~)
