Space closed!

As Soren emerged from the Shadow Rift, the sun rose precisely on the horizon. Then, some unpredictable energy shift occurred, and the Shadow Rift quickly vanished into the shadow of the corner of the house. Soren had a bloody gash on his back, left by the Distorted Shadow. These Shadow Life, half-energy and half-matter, were difficult to deal with. Although they were only around the third tier monster, they could potentially threaten the Hit Points of high-level professionals.

They possess an innate ability to Dodge reality and illusion, as well as semi-energy-based attack methods.

The wound on Soren's back was nothing serious; his powerful Regeneration abilities had already begun to heal. He calmly sheathed his Scimitar and then bent down to look at the two corpses on the ground.

The bodies didn't have many wounds; they didn't die at the hands of the Distorted Shadow!

"Evil Spirit? A curse? Or something else entirely?"

Soren's understanding of the Shadow Plane was second only to the Underdark, so after glancing at the condition of the corpses, he knew that the pirates before him had not died at the hands of the Distorted Shadow. After entering the Shadow Plane, they had explored it for a while before finding their way back, only to encounter the Distorted Shadow.

"How about it?"

Soren glanced at the others around him and said in a deep voice, "Can the last one be saved?"

Of the three missing pirate henchmen, two were dead, and the third, covered in blood and unconscious, lay on the ground, his fate unknown. At that moment, a member of the pirate crew with Heal knowledge arrived. He checked the unconscious henchman's breath, opened his eyes, examined his other features, and said gravely, "Sir! He seems to be under some kind of curse! I can't be sure! Whether he survives depends on his luck!"

There were also some pirates who knew a little about Spell.

Soren's expression darkened upon hearing his words. He turned to look at the others and ordered in a low voice, "Seal off this area! No one else is allowed to approach this area!"

The Shadow Plane has connected to his camp.

It seemed that some incredible power existed right where he stood in the Shadow Plane, a secret most likely connected to the ancient Arcane Empire. The tower Soren saw was even taller than Goria's Wizard Tower, rising abruptly into the clouds—a feat of incredibly difficult construction, characteristic of the Arcane Empire. Legend has it that the Archmage were extremely arrogant; they built such Wizard Tower with the ambition of being on par with the Gods.

The ancient Wizard Tower of the Material Plane have mostly become ruins and relics, and Soren never imagined that Wizard Tower from the Arcane Empire era would still survive in the Shadow Plane.

This thing is extremely dangerous!

If it were controlled, it would be a terrifying strategic weapon, practically on par with an atomic bomb. However, if it were uncontrolled, it would also be extremely dangerous, implying it possesses a formidable defense system, so much so that no one has controlled it to this day. Soren wouldn't naively believe that this Wizard Tower had simply remained dormant, waiting for his arrival. The Shadow Plane also has native Hit Points, many of whom are not highly intelligent, yet they easily discovered this Wizard Tower, not to mention Traveler from the Material Plane.

For millions of years.

Someone has definitely discovered it, but it's unknown whether anyone has successfully entered it.

In front of a magnificent, golden building.

Adele Isabella stood at the door, holding a box. Before her stood a heavy Steel Golem; this was one of the Alchemy Guild's territories. The mages were as arrogant as ever; getting an audience with them was incredibly difficult, even for Tier 4 Professional like the Red-Haired Female Pirate. She still spent three days trying to meet the person Soren had designated. In the end, it turned out that the other party was too busy with experiments to waste time meeting a complete stranger like her.

The Wizard ' glory will continue for some time.

At this stage, mages around the world still hold their positions high and mighty. The Wizard Union's influence spans the entire continent, and they maintain communication with each other in a loose structure. Adele Elizabeth's expression was not good, because anyone who wanted to see someone but couldn't after waiting for three days would definitely be in a terrible mood.

She gazed at the Steel Golem before her and said helplessly, "Very well. If Lucian is truly busy, then please help me deliver this box to him. I'm sure he'll be interested in what's inside; there's also a letter from my master that he received."

The Steel Golem at her, then nodded and put the items away.

Don't underestimate these Alchemy golems. Mages have long since extended their Spell domain to the realm of the soul. These Alchemy Hit Points are all beings with souls, albeit not complete souls, but fragmented ones. They possess rudimentary intelligence; although most cannot think directly, they are essentially intelligent computers with considerable capabilities. As for the higher-level Alchemy golems, they are complete Hit Points forms. They possess souls, can think, and even learn to create, although their emotions are quite mechanical.

The most common place for these Hit Points forms is the [Clockwork Nirvana of Mechanus]!

The Red-Haired Female Pirate sighed helplessly.

She looked somewhat frustrated. Before coming, she had planned to complete the task assigned by Soren perfectly, but in the end, she didn't expect to not even be able to see the person. This was a significant blow to her, even making her doubt her own abilities and creating a sense of urgency in her heart.

Now she can only hope that the Wizard will take the time to look at what she brought, otherwise she really won't know how to explain it to Soren when she gets back.

She hadn't had much contact with high-level Spellcaster before.

But now Adele Isabella is finding that those high-level Spellcaster are really quite difficult to deal with.

Inside the camp.

Because three people had suddenly disappeared last night, a hint of panic crept onto the faces of the other pirates.

Even though Soren ordered a information blackout, his henchmen still vaguely knew about the Shadow Plane. For ordinary people, the supernatural is extremely rare, and things that transcend this Material Plane are mostly legends to them. The Shadow Plane Shadow Plane pirate henchmen; many of them had no idea what it was, so many felt a sense of fear because of the unknown.

Plane knowledge!

This is indeed a very distant thing, because apart from Spellcaster such as Wizard, many people will not expand their vision to the Plane range until they are close to the Quasi-Legendary level.

Soren's knowledge of Plane wasn't very extensive either!

He had only explored a small number of Plane, but he was very clear about the Shadow Plane.

This is the core Plane connecting the material world, directly overlapping the Material Plane like the Spirit Realm, like two pieces of paper stacked together, roughly the same size and shape, only one on top and one on the bottom, with slight differences. The Shadow Plane is a semi- Material Plane, containing many semi-energy-form Hit Points forms, so its connection to the Material Plane is relatively close. The Spirit Realm, on the other hand, is an energy Plane, containing almost no flesh-and-blood Hit Points, mostly Spiritual Body- like beings, that is, completely energy-based Hit Points, and it is directly connected to the realm of God of Death.

Wizard have many Spell that can allow souls to enter the Spirit Realm, or directly transform the physical body into Spiritual Body to enter it.

These Spell are somewhat like Astral Plane projections!

The Material Plane, the semi- Material Plane, and the Soul Energy Plane —these are the three core layers. Beyond these three layers lie the other spatial Plane of the Multiverse, all enveloped within an almost endless Astral Plane ocean. Soren knows very little about Astral Plane Travel, only that without Astral Plane -Legendary level strength Travel, it's practically suicidal. Most of the time, Astral Plane Travel is done via projection; actual travel is rare because the Astral Plane is too dangerous.

Soren returned to the hall.

He summoned the pirate leaders below and assigned them tasks one by one. Soren's face remained unchanged, as if everything that had happened the night before was nothing at all. As the core of the camp, he had to be as steady as a mountain at all times so that his men could work with peace of mind.

Time passed quickly.

Order seemed to have been restored in the camp. Except for one area where no one was allowed to approach, everything else was almost unchanged. Slave were busy working, pirates were speeding up construction, and some of the native captives captured yesterday had already started working, with double the Guard watching over them. These people absolutely could not be kept for nothing; once the Drow began to move, soon all these native Slave would be working.

"Elder brother!"

Vivian's petite figure appeared in the hall. She seemed to have just woken up, raising her small, white hand to rub her eyes, and asked in confusion, "What happened? Why is that area fenced off?"

Soren looked at the slightly dazed little girl who had just woken up, a rare smile appearing on his face. He said simply, "This place has also been connected to the Shadow Plane. Three people went missing last night, and I discovered Shadow Rift there early this morning. Inside, I saw a complete Wizard Tower."

"Vivian! Are you confident you can enter the Wizard Tower?"

Upon hearing this, the little girl's expression turned serious. After pondering for a moment, she said earnestly, "Brother! Wizard Tower Wizard Tower extremely dangerous, especially complete ones. Even the two of us might not be able to break through its defenses. If it really is a complete Wizard Tower, I suggest you invite Elder Sister Goria over."

"I'm afraid only she can crack many of the core key points."
