Soul Projection

Out-of-body experience is a very strange feeling!

Although this wasn't Soren's first attempt at projecting his soul from his body, it was the first time he'd actually tried it in reality. The strongest sensation was the weightlessness of his soul; freed from the constraints of gravity, it felt light and airy. However, it wasn't his complete soul that left. The instant he touched the pillar of light, Soren's soul was Spell shaped into Soul Projection and then sent directly to the Astral Gate.

Soul Projection is only a part of the soul.

It is not the weight of a complete soul, so if it dies, it will not necessarily cause the physical body to die as well.

However, it will inevitably cause extremely serious damage to the soul!

If the damage is too severe, it could turn someone into an idiot, or even directly affect the Real World, causing the entity that Soul Projection to die instantly! This can be understood simply according to Eastern beliefs: the death of Soul Projection is like the loss of a part of one's three souls and seven spirits in Eastern Mythology. It could lead to mental instability, idiocy, a vegetative state, or even immediate death. Generally, such Soul Projection is only used when traveling to extremely dangerous places, or places inaccessible by the physical body, which significantly reduces the risk of death.

The two souls were reshaped into Semi-energy Form!

The power of the Soul Projection was greatly weakened; Soren retained only about 80% of his strength, and all equipment below Legendary level remained in his physical body.

He dislikes going to the Astral Plane, and that's why!

Low-level Supernatural Item cannot complete the half-energy conversion; only Legendary and higher-level equipment can be converted into Soul Projection and remain at the Soul Projection's location upon death. Therefore, even Legendary Wizard in Soul Projection form do not carry their most powerful Legendary Equipment. However, Soren cannot leave his equipment on his physical body. All the Legendary Equipment he possesses directly affects his combat level; going to the Astral Plane without Legendary Equipment would be suicidal.

A brief feeling of dizziness!

When Soren and Goria regained their senses, they had already arrived at the Astral Gate.

At this moment, about twelve Witch projections had gathered around the Eye of the North. Upon noticing the appearance of this man, Soren, these Soul Projection couldn't help but show a hint of surprise on their faces. Then, they looked at Goria with questioning eyes. Seeing the expression on her face, the other Witch couldn't help but reveal a mischievous smile. It seemed Goria was quite popular, unlike her unpopular mother.

All the Witch present were high-level Wizard or above, with at least a third of them being Quasi-Legendary Wizard.

As for Witch like Eye of the North, whose class level is around 25, there are probably very few like her in the entire world, so she should be the most powerful one among them.

Soran turned out to be the weakest of the Soul Projection, and also a half-baked Wizard.

The Eye of the North didn't react much to Soren's arrival, merely glancing at him before nodding slightly to Goria. Then, with a serious expression, it said, "Prepare for teleportation! Everyone, focus!"

The already opened Astral Gate suddenly enveloped them, and they were immediately transported into a rainbow-colored passage. Countless points of light, too bright to be seen with the naked eye, rushed past them, so all they could perceive were numerous rainbow-like rays of light. Soul Projection is the simplest way to Extraplanar, and many Abyssal Fiend and Hell Devil use this method to travel to other Plane. Dying in Soul Projection state only reduces one's strength; most of the time, it does not lead to the death of the original body.

Wizard cherish their Hit Points very much!

Therefore, even with a formidable enemy at hand, the Eye of the North did not require the other Witch to travel to the Astral Plane in their physical bodies.

A sensation of the soul passing through a membrane came over me.

Or perhaps it was more like the feeling of sinking headfirst into the Seawater. When Soren opened his eyes again, he was standing on a desolate land. Above this land was a silver River Goddess, and there was almost no vegetation in sight. It felt like standing on the surface of the moon, gazing at the universe, with an endless silver River Goddess before him, like the Milky Way where countless stars converge. Around this seemingly small piece of land, he could see countless stellar particles and objects streaking across the sky like shooting stars.

It could be just a comet, or it could be the corpse of an Ancient God!

The Astral Plane has become a giant junkyard.

Over countless ages, countless people have entered and died here, along with various other beings who entered the Astral Plane Astral Plane other reasons, ultimately turning it into a vast junkyard. Within this junkyard, you can discover the corpses of Ancient God, hidden Demiplane, fallen Divine Realm, and may even encounter dilapidated Flying Citadel, colossal Astral Skiff, and much more. Almost anything you can imagine can be found here.

Because this place is a gigantic, all-encompassing junkyard!

It is also the most dangerous landfill.

There is no air in the Astral Plane, so it is not easy for flesh-and-blood Hit Points to survive here. They must rely on the floating Demiplane of the Astral Plane. Therefore, many Traveler enter the Astral Plane are either Soul Projection in a half-energy state or powerful beings who are close to Avatar Form. In this endless Astral Plane, there is an energy that Wizard call ' Essence ', believing it to be the most fundamental structure of the universe.

However, Soren preferred to call them by another name.

--"Dark Energy!"

The birth of almost every Demiplane is invariably linked to the ' Astral Plane ' and the ' Ethereal Plane '. Demiplane are very special existences, difficult to explain in a few words. However, one thing can be simply understood: even Legendary Wizard cannot provide the vast energy required to create Demiplane. Therefore, all Demiplane 'grow' little by little, much like the realm of the Deity, except that the energy supplying the growth of Demiplane comes from only two places.

One is the Astral Plane.

The other is the Ethereal Plane.

These two Plane have an inexplicable relationship, and the structure of their energy is unknown. However, the Astral Plane is closer to the Outer Planes, while the etheric space is closer to the inner Plane.

Soren's feet are on a Demiplane!

Because there is very little material structure within the Astral Plane. This is almost beyond doubt; the vast majority of matter in the Astral Plane originates from other Plane.

That's why it's always been called a garbage dump!

Even the Demiplane beneath Soren's feet is a massive piece of junk floating in the boundless Astral Plane.

The Demiplane is the supporting structure.

Without the support of this Demiplane, Soren and the other Witch ' Soul Projection would be directly exposed to the Astral Plane Essence, that is, the silver torrent above their heads. This would be quite troublesome, because this energy torrent generated from the distorted space is inhabited by many extremely dangerous Astral Creature. The secrets of the Astral Plane are not even known to the Gods, but the Gods know how to utilize the energy of the Astral Plane; the initial creation of the world was propagated from this ' Essence energy'.

There are many things that Soren doesn't quite understand.

He could remember very little, but he knew that beyond that galaxy-like torrent of energy lay endless Dark Energy and something called [Crystal Sphere].

The soul enters the Astral Plane!

A wealth of information flashed before Soren's eyes in an instant:

"Soul Projection complete!..."

"The soul enters the Astral Plane!... The soul comes into contact with dark matter energy!... The soul comes into contact with Essence energy!..."

"You have obtained Feat on the Epic Background Feat [Astral Traveler]."

"Soul construction complete!"

"Soul Projection converts into Dark Energy!... You automatically gain the [Quicken Spell] Feat!... All Spell below 6th rank become instant cast!..."

From the moment you step into the Astral Plane.

Everyone's spellcasting energy began to Rage, as if some kind of shackles had been broken, and they had forcibly broken free from the constraints of matter.

Then, they came into contact with the most primal and essential energy.

This energy is omnipresent and grants them the ability to Quicken Spell. Although they can still sense the Weave, it seems to bypass its effects. They no longer need the Weave Weave to gather energy. All Spellcaster entering the Astral Plane automatically gain the [Quicken Spell] Feat, making all Spell below the 6th rank instant, Epic Spell only take half the casting time.

This is still not close to the Ocean of Essence.

If one gets close to that gaseous River Goddess that resembles the Milky Way, or comes into contact with the energy emanating from the distorted space, then even Epic Spell could be cast instantly!

As long as your soul can withstand this power, the Astral Plane can provide you with endless energy.

Because it is the place closest to the essence of the universe!

A new world appeared before Soren's eyes.

It was an enormous Demiplane, its outer layer a hazy gray iris, resembling a translucent eggshell. Inside lay a complete world, though not a planetary structure, but rather a continental shelf. This Demiplane was born in the Astral Plane plane, powered by Astral Plane inexhaustible energy. Within Demiplane grew land, rocks, mountains, oceans, air, plants, and more, eventually evolving into a relatively complete Demiplane capable of supporting intelligent Hit Points.

This enormous Demiplane swept past at high speed!

Like Halley's Comet streaking across the sky, it quickly disappeared from Soren's sight. The Astral Plane is almost infinite, a plane so large it seems limitless, but if you keep going upwards, you'll encounter a [Crystal Sphere]. However, before you reach the [Crystal Sphere], you'll see countless realms of Deity, and if you're lucky, you might even see the legendary [Pantheon] Plane!

Rumble!

The ground beneath Soren's feet trembled.

This Demiplane seems to have existed for only a short time; Soren could see the edge of the land at a glance, and jumping off the edge would plunge him into the Void torrent.

Throughout history!

There has never been a shortage of unfortunate souls who have lost their way in the Astral Plane, swept away and drifting in the torrents for hundreds or thousands of years.

Therefore, the Astral Plane is often referred to as the "Exiled Lands"!

This connects all the Plane, but you may not be able to find the passage. Without Demiplane to rely on, once you are swept into the Void torrent, it's like a mortal being swept away by a flood.

Demiplane, no more than a few hundred years old, is trembling!

It was as if something was attacking it. Soren could sense the solemnity and worry on the face of the Eye of the North, something that could cause even the most powerful Witch in the North to feel worried.

Therefore, the enemy that appears is most likely the kind of intelligent creature that Soren hates the most!
