Soren quickly returned to the camp.

When he returned to the camp that he had built entirely with his own hands, a rare hint of pride appeared on Soren's face.

It's fair to say that his journey to where he is today has been incredibly arduous, a gradual and meticulous ascent from an insignificant thief in Amber City to a Pirate King dominating the South Coast. He's shed countless drops of blood and suffered countless injuries along the way, but it's all been worthwhile. Especially seeing the foundation he's built with his own hands, a sense of satisfaction washes over Soren. He firmly believes that given enough time, he can use this place to change everything, even influence the Destiny of the entire world.

Rows of brick and tile houses line both sides of the wide avenue.

Soren gazed with satisfaction at the newly built houses, then entered a secluded room in his quarters.

"Your Throat Cutter Slitter!"

A man completely hidden in the shadows knelt on one knee and respectfully said to Soren, "I have completed the task you gave me."

Soren's expression was rather cold; he nodded slightly and said, "Very good."

"Any unusual activity from the Drow? Have they been behaving themselves since I left?"

This is a Rogue.

Furthermore, he is a Rogue with a professional level of 12 or higher. Not all pirates are Warrior. Although very few Spellcaster become pirates, it does not mean that there are no other professions.

Soren was a very cautious person.

Therefore, from the moment he became the Pirate King, he set up another group of trustworthy elites.

These people are few in number, less than double digits so far, but they are all potential Rogue who have received basic training from Soren and are skilled in Stealth and espionage.

These people may not be very strong in combat, but they clearly have a more important purpose!

As a Rogue, Soren placed great importance on intelligence and spies.

"Your Mightiness!"

The man hidden in the shadows handed a Dossier to Soren and said, "The Drow Warrior have contacted their people several times and secretly sent some things back. However, there hasn't been any obvious unusual activity. For fear of being discovered, we haven't gotten too close."

Soren did not trust the Drow.

In fact, anyone who has been to the Underdark would not easily believe the Drow.

Because of Soren's current strength, these Drow dare not act rashly and obey his orders. However, if Soren weakens even slightly, making them feel they have an opportunity, the possibility of these Drow betraying him is quite high.

Because that's just their nature!

Soren picked up the scroll, glanced at it, then put it away, saying, "Very good. I understand."

"Be careful to hide. Don't expose yourselves easily."

After saying that.

Soren turned and left the room. His pirates numbered in the thousands, but he had far too few capable men like him.

Ultimately, it's because his foundation is insufficient; he needs to start everything from scratch.

The other side of the camp.

Escorted by a group of pirates, Saruman, dressed in a grey robe, arrived at his workplace Laboratory. He had a separate courtyard and brought with him many of his Alchemy tools.

Upon seeing the camp, he paused for a moment, then said, "Looks like the place I'll be staying in from now on isn't too bad!"

Saruman directed his three Wizard apprentices, who had brought him along, to set up the room. They carefully carried in the experimental equipment before taking a quick look around at the surroundings.

Turning Guano into high-quality fertilizer is not a very difficult task.

The tricky part is that if a high level of craftsmanship cannot be achieved, then he will need to personally carry out the transformation. His task is to find a way to make it a process that can be completed by Wizard apprentices or ordinary people. This is not too difficult for an experienced Alchemy, because constructing a Steel Golem and giving it sentience is much easier than this kind of chemical Alchemy.

Saruman was in no hurry to get started.

After settling his luggage, he took a stroll around the camp. He was curious about everything related to Soren.

"Your Excellency Wizard!"

A Drow Ranger on patrol stopped Saruman in front of him. He glanced at the man, who had his hand on his chest, and said, "Please don't go near that area. There are dangerous plants there, some man-eating plants."

Man-Eating Plant?

Saruman showed a hint of curiosity upon hearing this, tightened his grip on his staff, and slowly said, "Young man, rest assured."

"A Wizard wouldn't be in danger so easily!"

After saying that, he walked directly into the jungle. The Drow Ranger behind him hesitated for a moment, but did not stop him from entering, nor did he follow.

The plants inside are so strange!

Saruman frowned slightly upon entering, then cast two Abjuration Spell before cautiously advancing.

Wizard can be confident, but they must not be arrogant.

This rather old Wizard was quite experienced; he entered very cautiously and then observed the nearby plants.

"Fun! Fun!"

Saruman, as if discovering something, approached a giant Mutated Man-Eating Flower. After sprinkling some strange yellow powder on it, for some reason, the deadly plant didn't attack, but instead swayed slightly as if asleep. Saruman circled the Mutated Man-Eating Flower, a look of fascination on his face, and gently stroked Man-Eating Flower roots, murmuring, "Beautiful! Dangerous! Deadly! And brimming with powerful Hit Points!..."

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, as if sensing something, and muttered to himself, "There's still the aura of Magic!"

Who created you?

Saruman carefully used his Dagger to cut open the Man-Eating Flower's roots, then took some of the blood-like liquid. He then circled around and took away something resembling a seed before slowly leaving.

On the other side.

Goria was also taken to Vivian's residence, where she was settled next to the large house where Soren lived.

"Meow!"

Just as Goria was being pulled into the room by the little girl, she suddenly seemed to hear a meow, and then saw Vivian rush in with a cheer, pulling out a little girl with obvious Therianthrope features. This little girl was about the same height as Vivian, wearing a pretty floral dress, with a pair of fluffy cat ears and a curled tail, but otherwise her features were similar to those of a human.

Goria had already been shocked many times today, so when she saw the Catgirl in front of her, she was surprisingly calm. She frowned and said, "Lycanthrope? Catgirl? I thought such creatures were extinct!"

Vivian pushed the little Catgirl in front of Goria and said with a grin, "Elder Sister Goria!"

"Her name is Lulumiao!..."

"Don't let her small size fool you!... She's actually very capable!..."

Goria smiled upon hearing this, glanced at the Catgirl was about the same height as Vivian, and teased, "Is she very powerful? What can she do?"

The little girl nodded confidently and said in a crisp voice, "She can do somersaults!"

Pfft.

Goria chuckled softly, reached out and stroked the little girl's head, then turned her gaze to the Catgirl and slowly asked, "Can she talk?"

The Catgirl seemed to understand something, and opened her mouth to make a sound, "Meow!~... Lulu!... Meow!!!..."

Upon hearing Goria revealed a knowing look and slowly said, "Looks like you still can't speak!... But that's alright, let me help you!..."

She opened her mouth and uttered strange incantation syllables, and then Spell Aura appeared in her palm.

When Goria placed her hand on the Catgirl's forehead, the woman's petite body trembled, and her eyes became blank. This blankness lasted for about half a minute, then her expression cleared, and she opened her mouth like a child who had just learned to speak, saying, "Lulu!... Lulu!... Elder Sister!... M-Master!..."

She had only said a few words when she seemed a little anxious, and her voice suddenly changed to. "Meow!... Lulu!... Meow!..."

Goria bent down and gently stroked the Catgirl's head, saying slowly, "Don't rush."

"I simply cast a Spell on you to help you complete your initial learning, but you'll still need to learn it slowly."
