Goria's Tarot Cards
The Soren are not on the South Coast.
I don't know when it started, but the message was spread by others.
The absence of the legendary, awe-inspiring Pirate King from the South Coast naturally stirred up restless activity among others. Soren's power was undeniable; his very existence on the South Coast was legendary. As long as he was in charge of the South Sea, no one dared to make any move. However, news now circulated that he was no longer on the South Coast, but most likely in the Land of Ice and Snow on the other side of the continent. This prompted many who secretly harbored hatred and grudges to take action.
The Pirate King of Amazon.
This Pirate King, active in the Amazon Islands, also seemed to feel threatened by Soren's growing power, but instead of launching an attack, she expanded her territory slightly.
It's obvious.
The territory she controlled was almost intertwined with Soren's overseas shipping routes.
But this is not the biggest threat to the South Coast, because the Amazon Pirate King has always been cautious, and she currently seems to have no intention of launching a full-scale war against Soren.
Therefore, their actions were merely a test, a subtle act of provocation.
The real threat is the Duchy of Rosado.
In the battle to defeat the Pirate King Asroder, Soren also severely damaged the navy of the Duchy of Rosado, and even killed the Red Dragon Duchess once, forcing her to revive using the ' Life Hide.
This hatred is very intense!
In some respects, it was almost impossible to resolve, so after receiving the news that Soren was not on the South Coast, the navy of the Duchy of Rosado immediately took action.
This action alerted the Half-Elf first mate who was guarding the Eastern Route.
He could deal with the pirates from all over the East, but he couldn't deal with the Red Dragon Duchess. Without being able to contact Soren, the only thing he could do was to ask Port Nyanzaru for help!
Sand Fury Island.
This used to be the base of the Pirate King Asroder; now it's Transit Station the Eastern Route, overseen by the Half-Elf first mate.
A solemn atmosphere filled the port at that moment, as if a storm was brewing.
The Duchy of Rosado's naval movements were unusual; they had secretly acquired more Warship through unknown means. There were rumors that Amazon pirates were providing covert support, but no more concrete intelligence was available. The only certainty was that the Duchy of Rosado's navy had received a large influx of Warship and had rebuilt a powerful navy. Across the entire South Coast region, only the women of the Amazon, besides the nearby kingdoms, could have provided such extensive support.
The kingdom is unlikely to support the navy of other countries with its own Warship, so the Amazon are the most likely candidates.
The Amazon Islands are an overseas territory.
Warships are part of their standing army, and supporting the Duchy of Rosado is not difficult for them.
A warship gradually approached Sand Fury Island.
A large crowd had already gathered at the port, including the Half-Elf first mate and other pirate leaders, all of whom had come to wait.
The entire South Coast!
Aside from Soren, there seemed to be only one other person who could command such respectful waiting from them.
Goria appeared on the deck.
She wore a black Wizard's robe and a veil over her face, yet she still looked incredibly beautiful, seemingly shrouded in mystery. Beside her was little Vivian, dressed in a pure white princess dress. Behind them, Vivian, looking somewhat bewildered Lulumiao hands. Finally, in a dark corner of the cabin, there seemed to be another figure in Wizard's robe, not showing herself directly, but standing quietly behind.
"Your Majesty!"
The Half-Elf first mate knelt on one knee. The pirate captains behind him all followed suit, kneeling and saying, "Your Majesty! Young Miss!..."
Soren's intentions are becoming increasingly clear.
His ambition unsettled his enemies. Not only did his men understand something, but his adversaries also sensed something. Especially after conquering the West Coast and North Coast, Soren's former enemies became increasingly uneasy. At the same time, some rules were quietly changing. The once lawless pirate leaders were now beginning to learn the law and regulations. They needed to learn how to become administrators because they were no longer the pirates who would plunder and run away, but a ruling class with their own territory to manage and develop.
Get up.
Goria rose gracefully like a noble princess, took little Vivian's hand, glanced at the other pirate leaders, and said slowly, "Have the rest of you assemble in the Council Hall."
"Yes," the Half-Elf first mate replied respectfully.
It can be said that in the entire South Coast region, apart from Soren, only Goria could keep these unruly pirate Boss in check.
It wasn't just because of her status in the Northern Witches Council, but also because of the power she possessed.
From the moment she followed Soren to the Overseas Islands, Goria's status and position were destined to be extraordinary. While she rarely interfered in overseas affairs in Soren's absence, her influence was undeniable!
Night fell.
Goria rubbed her forehead wearily, then put down the Dossier in her hand.
The situation on the Eastern Route is not good. The navy of the Duchy of Rosado has grown stronger, and the possibility of going to war with them is too high!
New grudges and old hatreds.
Goria was also a powerful Spellcaster, and she knew very well how much the Red Dragon Duchess hated Soren!
We discussed this in the Council Hall all afternoon.
Intelligence from all sides indicates that the Duchy of Rosado may threaten the Eastern Route, and the Amazon female pirates also seem to be stirring.
These Amazon women are no ordinary people!
They are not just ordinary pirates; behind them stands an Amazon tribe and a Church of Deity who worship the Lord of Storms.
Soren expanded too quickly.
Everyone nearby felt threatened, so much so that the number of enemies was increasing.
"Elder Sister Goria?"
Vivian's clear, childlike voice rang out, and the little girl came over carrying a plate of snacks, saying sweetly, "Look! I brought you some delicious food."
Lulumiao followed behind like a little tail, gazing longingly at the exquisite pastries.
It looks delicious!
Meow.
A slight smile appeared on Goria's beautiful face. She opened her mouth to say something, but suddenly her expression changed and she vanished from her spot, leaving only an image behind, saying, "Vivian! Stay here!"
Short-distance teleportation.
Goria's figure appeared on the rooftop in an instant, along with another figure.
"Mother."
She stared at the empty sky, her face grave, and said, "We'll force her out!"
A Spell Aura appeared.
Goria's figure soared into the air, and the Fallen Witch, shrouded in a black robe, also took flight.
Ahead of them.
A strange, soft laugh rang out, and then, under the Spell Aura of the Detect Invisibility, a figure wearing a fiery red dress and with a pair of huge red Dragon Wing unfolding from her back appeared.
"You're Goria?"
The figure was very indistinct in the moonlight, but it was not difficult to identify her.
Goria's expression remained calm.
She turned and glanced at the Fallen Witch behind her, then slowly said, "Mother, let me deal with her!... I just finished a little something recently!..."
Clatter
Goria snapped her fingers, a gesture she seemed to have learned from Soren.
A pale golden light appeared.
A Tarot appeared in Goria's palm. With a gentle flick of her fair fingers, all the Tarot in her palm flew up and danced around her body. The fifty-six cards shone with a strange Arcane Magic light, and these Tarot were like mysterious Rune, forming a circle around her body.
"Although I only completed fifty-six cards, that should be enough to deal with you."
With a smile, Goria lightly flicked her finger onto a Tarot. The next instant, a stunning bolt of lightning streaked across the sky, striking the enemy before her.
--"Lightning Bolt!"
A dark gold card appeared.
This is a card that Soren had seen before, and it's currently held between Goria's fingers, though she doesn't seem to intend to use it.
Tarot.
There are a total of 78 cards: 22 main cards and 56 side cards.
The dark gold card that Goria is currently holding between her fingers is the ' Empress ' from the 22 main deck cards. This dark gold main deck card seems to possess a powerful magic that is completely different from the other 56 side deck cards! (To be continued~^~)
