Traces of a Deity
Spider Forest.
Soren led the way, followed by a lively little girl.
In fact, Soren still couldn't understand why this little girl, after listening to his third-rate, melodramatic, and ultimately harmful tales of arrogant, overpowered Dragon adventures that poisoned the minds of teenagers all night, would suddenly have the audacity to actually decide to go on an adventure with him. (Just kidding.)
Dragon must be very lazy creatures, right?
In Soren's memory, Dragon spent most of their time sleeping. He had encountered some Good Alignment Dragon before, and while they interacted with other intelligent beings, he had never heard of them going on adventures together. This little girl, for some reason, had declared with absolute certainty that she planned to go on an adventure with him to see some interesting things. She even stated that if Soren disagreed, she wouldn't give him the Elemental Crystal [Fire], and planned to eat it whole. (Note: She actually took a bite.)
I mentioned that earlier.
Brass Dragon can eat almost anything, and can digest the vast majority of it.
No doubt about it!
If the little girl in front of me really ate the Elemental Crystal, she might actually be able to digest it completely.
at last.
Soren had no choice but to bring her along, and he concluded that the saying "chaos breeds idiots" was true.
"Shh!"
Soren, who was scouting ahead, suddenly stopped. He turned around and gestured for the little girl who was humming a tune and skipping along behind him to be quiet. He said in a deep voice, "There are people ahead! Don't make a sound!"
After advancing to Legendary rank.
Soren's abilities in all aspects have improved significantly. Since a little Loli Dragon is planning to adventure with him, he decides to also obtain the last Elemental Crystal. This way, he won't need to trouble Goria to set off. Now that Soren is not in the Overseas Islands, he can only feel at ease with Goria stationed in Port Nyanzaru. This Loli Dragon is definitely a Legendary -level fighter. With her around, obtaining the last Elemental Crystal [Wind] shouldn't be difficult. (Perhaps he can even use her power to defeat the final four Elemental Elder.)
"Um?"
The little girl immediately quieted down upon hearing this, tiptoed closer to Soren, climbed onto his back, and whispered in his ear, "Who's there? Is anyone nearby? I didn't see anyone."
My ears are itchy.
Soren turned and glared at her, but seeing the little girl's smiling face, he breathed a sigh of relief and said softly, "It should be Elf. There's a reconnaissance team nearby! They seem quite skilled!"
The Spider Forest is near the Elven Realm.
Soren came all the way from the desert here, certainly not for sightseeing. In fact, anyone with a modicum of intelligence could guess where the Spider Forest led from its name.
That's right!
Underdark!
Many of the spiders here are descendants of the pets of the Spider Queen, Lolth. The battle between the surface elves and the subterranean drow has been ongoing for a long time, and the Spider Forest is the front line of this battle, as well as a passage connecting to the Underdark. The last elemental crystal is in the Underdark, and this is the elemental crystal he knows best, because Sauron once roamed the Underdark for a long time.
Are we going underground?
The little girl, perched on Soren's back, her beautiful eyes brimming with excitement, exclaimed, "I've never been underground before! What's fun down there?"
Underdark.
That's no fun!
Soren scooped the little girl off his back and said in a deep voice, "Quiet down. We'll find a way to sneak in. Don't get involved in the war between the Surface Elf and the Drow."
The Spider Forest is very dense.
Two figures stealthily approached. Despite the little girl's true form being a dragon, her stealth abilities were surprisingly impressive when she transformed into a human. Sauron was quite familiar with this place, as the Spider Forest was once a leveling ground for adventurer parties of profession levels 5-10. It was teeming with highly venomous spiders, all descendants of the Spider Queen Rose's pets. Their rapid reproduction had become a headache for many nearby races (venomous spiders, phase spiders, fire spiders, etc.).
There is a path here that leads to the Underdark.
Soren planned to take the Loli Dragon from there into the Underground World, and see if the rumored event had actually happened.
Blood.
Blood was everywhere.
Accompanied by the dripping sound of blood, a burly Barbarian covered in wounds knelt on the ground.
His breath was already very weak.
His body was covered in gruesome wounds, many of which looked like marks left by sharp claws. Even with the Barbarian's powerful Constitution, he was now gradually approaching the brink of death.
"Hehehe!"
A sinister laugh rang out, and the Vampire God Child, dressed in a dark red noble's robe, slowly appeared. He stared at the corpse of a beautiful woman at his feet, then crushed her pretty head to pieces with his foot, saying with a playful tone, "You bunch of trash! You think you can team up and defeat me? You're simply overestimating yourselves!"
"Today I will show you the difference between mortals and Deity!"
"Iamgod!" (I am God!)
A terrifying force spread.
The blood on the ground seemed to come alive, and the Barbarian kneeling on the ground trembled. Facing the approaching Vampire God Child, he suddenly cried out, "No... don't kill me!... I never wanted to compete with you for the power of the Demon Lord of Fear!... Don't kill me!... I can tell you where the first Godsbane is!...!"
The first Godsbane?
Reinhard, the Vampire, stopped in his tracks, frowning slightly. "Where?" he asked.
He's been looking for her for a long time.
Unfortunately, there were no clues whatsoever, as if the other party had completely vanished.
"Soren!"
The Barbarian's face was filled with terror, and his voice trembled as he said, "The Headhunter — Soren! He is the first Godsbane!... You should have heard of him!... The Pirate King of the South Coast!... If it weren't for the power of the Demon Lord of Fear, he could never have unified the South Coast so quickly!..."
Pirate King?
Soren the Headhunter?!
A sneer appeared on the Vampire God Child's face as he slowly said, "So it was him! Trying to fight for that pathetic power among mortals! Looks like I overestimated him!..."
As he said this, his crimson eyes turned to the Barbarian before him.
"No!... Don't kill me!... Ah!..."
The Barbarian's corpse slowly fell. The Vampire God Child glanced around coldly and ordered, "Clean this place up, don't leave any trace. Those Paladin have been really annoying lately!"
Damn Paladin.
They're like cockroaches that just won't die; kill one batch and another one immediately appears.
Are they really not afraid of death?
Other Vampire Servant appeared and quickly began cleaning up the bloodstains. The Vampire God Child looked up towards the sea and murmured, "The South Coast? The Church of Fortune has been quite hostile towards me lately! But I still have to take them down as soon as possible!"
"Soren!"
"They shouldn't be a troublesome opponent, right?"
Clatter
A soft thud was heard as the object landed.
The hazy figure of the Hell Poet appeared behind the Vampire God Child. He frowned, glanced at the blood on the ground, and slowly said, "Reinhard! We'll talk about that Godsbane later!"
"An important message has been sent."
Upon hearing this, the Vampire God Child turned around, smiling as he gazed at the Hell Poet, opening his arms as if to embrace him, but the Hell Poet dodged him. "What message has been sent?"
The Hell Poet created a slight distance.
As a corrupt and Evil Dark Creature, Vampire have certain internal habits that are best left unsaid. Ever since he learned a little about them, he has been rather reluctant to get too close to Reinhard.
The Hell Poet tossed a Dossier over, then declared, "The Rogue and the God of Half-Elves have appeared!"
"He is in the Underdark."
"Someone witnessed His Divine Miracle in the Underdark, which presents a significant opportunity for us!"
Deity!?
A hint of excitement appeared on the Vampire God Child's face, and a sickly blush spread across his handsome features as he murmured, "Avatar? Finally, I can taste the blood of Deity!"
