[Arcanist] - Soren!
Inside the study.
Soren slowly opened the black metallic Spellbook before him. Accompanied by a faint glow of Spell restrictions, Soren waved his hand and erased the restrictions. The owner of this Spellbook wasn't particularly powerful, probably not even close to Quasi-Legendary strength. Soren, with his Demigod abilities, easily broke through the restrictive Spell. While Arcanist are powerful, not all Arcanist can rival the Gods. These restrictions, which only trouble mortals, were completely useless against Soren.

The black metallic cover was opened, and the entire Spellbook suddenly trembled. It then shook violently when it touched Soren's fingertips before being obediently suppressed onto the table.
"Alive?"
Soren looked somewhat surprised. He closed his eyes and sensed for a moment, then murmured, "It really is alive! But it has no consciousness. It must be that the power of [Animate Life] has been exhausted, and no new Soul Energy has been injected for a long time."
Arcanist possess many unique abilities.
Their power is not solely manifested in destruction; no Wizard is respected for their destructive power, but rather for their creative abilities and ingenious ideas.
The emergence of the Floating City is the pinnacle of their creativity!
Animate Life is a Constructed Life, a relatively high-level Spell. Soren had no interest in wasting his Slaughter Experience on a Spellbook, so he didn't intend to resurrect it. This Spell consumes a lot of Soul Energy; unless one has Soul Gem from the Abyss and the Baator Hell —the kind Soren found in the White Dragon's Lair—it could consume tens of thousands of Slaughter Experience points.
The Soul Gem was taken by Goria to inject into the Experimental Tower Spirit 'et-1'. Currently, the Experimental Tower Spirit's Soul Energy is still insufficient. If it weren't for the matter in the Shadow Plane, Goria would probably be planning to go to the Baator Hell. From both Soren's and Goria's perspectives, the progress of the Tower Spirit experiments is far more important than anything else. They are like constructed biological computers with extremely high computing power.
Unraveling the secrets of the Wizard Tower in the Shadow Plane requires the scanning and computational capabilities of 'et-1'.
The pages of the Spellbook feel like human skin, suggesting that this Spellbook was once enhanced to a certain level.
The Arcane Empire was rich in resources, so it's possible that Arcanist had enough Soul Crystal to squander. Soren glanced at the prologue of the Spellbook, then quickly flipped through the pages. The characters on it were completely unfamiliar to Soren; in fact, Soren didn't recognize them at all at first glance. But he immediately recognized them, and not only recognized them, but could also fully understand these Arcane Magic characters, because as Demigod, he possessed the ability to [Comprehend Languages].
Soren could read and understand any written language; this was the power possessed by Deity.

--[Eidetic Memory].
--[Loremaster].
Soren spent less than half an hour reading and memorizing the entire Spellbook in front of him. It contained at least hundreds of thousands of words and many complex patterns and characters, but Soren memorized it all. Since obtaining Divine Rank, Soren's memory ability seemed to have been further enhanced; sometimes he could memorize things with just a glance.
"So this is how spellcasting was done during the Arcane Empire era?"
Soren frowned and closed the Spellbook before him, muttering, "It seems the spell wasn't cast outside the Weave! Could it be that only Archmage can do this?"
Humans are gifted.
In The Wizard Legendary, there is an advanced class called [Archmage], which can only be upgraded to level 5. It is a very powerful advanced class.
There is also a [Archmage] in the Arcanist advancement, which is also Legendary advancement class. Throughout the entire Arcane Empire, there were not many people who could be called [Archmage].
"I have 10 Wizard Level. That means I have a basic foundation in spellcasting, so I should be able to advance successfully, right?"
Soren rose to his feet, deep in thought, and muttered to himself, "I've seen some powerful Arcane Empire character templates, and they all seem to start with [Arcanist] as their primary class. If I start with [Wizard], won't I be a step below? I wonder if I can even reach the [Archmage] level."
Back then, there was a standard and powerful advancement path for Spellcaster.
"[Wizard] -- [Candlekeep Scholar] -- [Archmage]!"
Soren's current concern is that Arcanist and Wizard have different spellcasting methods. Arcanist are like Spellcaster have combined the abilities of Wizard and Sorcerer, or even higher-level spellcasters than either of these two professions. He is unsure whether the two professions are compatible, because many abilities of Wizard do not meet the standards of Arcanist.
The Goddess of Magic 'castrated' many of the Wizard ' abilities!
Hesitation is useless.
Ultimately, you have to try it yourself to understand. Soren still has nearly 200,000 Slaughter Experience, enough to advance to the Arcanist level.
Whether two abilities are compatible will become clear once you try it out at an advanced level!
"Advanced to [Arcanist] successfully!"
"Arcanist class upgraded to level 1."
"Gain 28 Skill Point (Intelligence 22 + (Intelligence 22 - 10) * 0.5), and increase Hit Points by 10 points (Class Hit Points 4 + (Constitution 22 - 10) * 0.5)."
"You have mastered the Arcanist's Feat, [Arcane Memory]!"
"You have mastered the Arcanist's Feat [Arcane Rune]!"
"You have mastered the Arcanist's primary Feat [Arcane Counterspell]!... Your own Feat [Counterspell] has been replaced!..."
"Unknown conflict!..."
"Some abilities of the advanced class [Arcanist] are disabled!... Automatically convert some effects of [Arcane Memory]!..."
"Weave Energy Interference!..."
"Mana imprisonment release failed!... Forcibly releasing the mana imprisonment will result in the loss of spellcasting ability!... Contact with the deep Weave structure!... Connecting to the Shadow Weave the Arcane Magic circuits!... The [Arcane Memory] Feat automatically merges with the [Arcane Recollection] ability!..."
"Advanced level complete!..."
"Arcanist abilities have been successfully integrated into the Wizard's role!... Spellcasting ability restored!..."
pain.
Soren felt a sudden, intense pain in his brain, as if he had touched a terrifying high-voltage electric grid.
That's the power of the Weave!
Compared to the vast Weave system, Soren's abilities were instantly crushed.
Then he lost his spellcasting ability, and the Weave system refused his access. However, as the data in his mind was transformed, the Weave system reopened the door for him. Soren seemed to feel that his consciousness had entered a deeper part of the Weave. This place did not seem to be left by the Goddess of Magic, but rather seemed to be a backdoor opened for him by some 'powerful being' using the loopholes in the Weave itself.
Shadow Weave!
Soren's eyes widened in astonishment as he suddenly realized that he had entered the interior of the Weave. Inside the 'grids' of the outer Weave Weave system, there was an even more special ' Shadow Weave ' space.
"Arcane Memory [Class Ability]: Arcanist possess special skills that allow them to access the inner workings of the Weave Weave and deeply understand its structure. Upon accessing the Shadow Weave, Arcanist can automatically recall Spell they have already cast without having to Spell them again. The Spell memorized by Arcanist retain an original Spell Formula Spell Formula, which will automatically be recalled and reshaped over time."
After a certain period of time, the Arcanist will recall the Spell they have cast, even though they have not rested or meditated during this process. 0-level Spell will be recalled after 10 minutes, Level 1 Arcanist after 1 hour, Level 2 Spell after 2 hours, Level 3 Spell after 4 hours, Level 4 Spell after 6 hours, Level 5 Spell after 8 hours, Level 6 Spell after 12 hours, Level 7 Spell after 16 hours, Level 8 Spell after 20 hours, Level 9 Spell after 24 hours, Spell Epic Spell after seven days.
[Note: Arcane Recollection compatibility with Wizard Class Level failed! Back then, Arcanist was only at level 1, allowing automatic recall of 0-level Spell and level 1 Spell. Arcane Recollection will increase with the Arcanist's level.]
Still no Mana.
As long as the Weave hasn't collapsed, the chaotic energy won't disrupt spellcasting, and even advanced Arcanist like Soren will still need Spell Slot to complete their spellcasting process.
However, he seemed to have discovered some secrets from the Arcane Empire era!
Although he didn't unleash his full Mana, Soren gained the ability of Arcane Recollection. He could automatically recall the Spell he had cast without needing to meditate. The only downside was that Arcanist were indeed incompatible with Wizard; Soren's level 1 Arcanist advancement only allowed him to automatically recall one 0-level Spell he had used every 10 minutes and one level 1 Spell he had used every hour.
Even so!
Soren could also deeply sense the power of the Arcanist.
The Spell can even be recalled automatically!
The inner Shadow Weave of the Weave can actually store the original Spell Formula and automatically reconstruct the memories over time. All Spell, including Epic Spell, can be automatically recalled, although the time taken varies.
This ability.
Compared to the Wizard would be useless if they used up all their Spell Slot and didn't meditate to remember them, this is like heaven and earth!
--"Light Spell!"
A light appeared at Soren's fingertips, its bright glow illuminating the study. With his current spellcasting ability, the duration was quite long; this was merely a level 0 Cantrip.
One minute, two minutes, three minutes...
As the ten minutes passed, Soren discovered that the 0-level Spell model he had used after losing his original memories had been restored.
