"It's just some scrap metal!"

The massive Gnoll Chieftain frowned, glanced at Yugin beside him, and said in a deep voice, "I sense that the Artifact my My Lord needs is nearby! We absolutely cannot let them take it away!"

"Yugin!"

"Give the order to attack immediately!"

Yugin's lips twitched slightly, his expression grim. Abyssal Gnoll generally possessed an agility score of 20 or higher; such Superhuman Dexterity cannons were unlikely to hit them unless they were extremely lucky. From loading to firing, cannons of this craftsmanship posed little threat to the Abyssal Gnoll; otherwise, the Abyss fighting force wouldn't still rely on High-tier Demon. However, these cannons were a different story for the other Orc Warrior. Charging forward like this would mean enduring at least a volley of artillery fire, and a densely packed formation suffering significant losses from cannon fire alone.

But given the current situation, we can't afford not to go!

If they cannot find a piece of the Artifact [Flail of Ages], the Gnoll army may turn against them. If the alliance breaks down, the Abyssal Gnoll will regard the Orc as enemies, and a frenzied retaliatory attack is highly likely.

In that situation, it would be very difficult to completely defeat Half-Elf!

The Demon of the Abyss are all Chaotic Evil. Since ancient times, chaos has either produced madmen or idiots. Yugin was not sure what terrible things these madmen would do if he failed to meet their demands!

"There it is!"

The massive Gnoll Chieftain, with its black mane, suddenly pointed ahead. Its green eyes seemed to pierce the darkness, locking onto a small girl in a small white priest's robe amidst the night. It growled, "There she is! The Artifact component my My Lord needs is in the hands of that wretched little girl!"

Milan.

Holy Spirit Cleric - Milan!

The little girl was unaware of the approaching danger; she was only relieved that they had finally been rescued. Our My Lord's reinforcements had successfully come to their aid, and the women and children were much safer after boarding the Warship.

Yugin recognized the little girl in the white priest's robes at first glance. After all, the siege that day was so vivid in his memory; it was this little girl who ultimately ruined all his plans, and the Orc army Dragon Breath of the three-headed Dragon! A strong killing intent surfaced on Yugin's aged face, old and new grudges converging, and he unconsciously tightened his grip on the Bone Spear on his back. He was indeed a great Chieftain worthy of respect, kindness, and compassion among the Orc, but the only people he truly cared about were his own people.

Gnoll King - Yeenoghu.

This Evil, bloodthirsty, chaotic, murderous, and insane Demon Lord. No matter how Evil, bloodthirsty, or insane he may appear to others, his prestige among the Gnoll is incredibly high. It can be said that the vast majority of Gnoll in the Multiverse respect him, and a considerable number of Gnoll worship him madly.

The reason is simple.

For thousands of years, everything Gnoll King Yeenoghu has done, whether it was instigating the Lord of the Abyssal Fiend, painstakingly conquering the King of Ghouls, or carrying out other Evil Intrigue.

Ultimately, there is only one goal!

That is, Gnoll King Yeenoghu of the Gnolls always hoped to see the Gnoll race grow stronger, and he devoted his entire life to this goal.

From the Gnoll ' perspective, Yeenoghu should be considered a great leader!

Yugin is similar.

That's why it enjoys such high prestige among Orc, but other races only feel hatred and hostility towards it.

They are actually the same kind of people, otherwise they wouldn't have gotten together!

"Charge!"

With furious roars, the Orc army surged forward like a tidal wave.

The elite pirates on the riverbank were already lined up, ready for battle. Behind them lay the Agate River, which the pirates, skilled in the water, could easily leap into and then find a way to board the ships. The Warship anchored on the Agate River served as fortresses. The Orc army was indeed formidable in land combat, but if they dared to come to the water, the pirates were confident they could teach them a lesson.

The ground seemed to tremble.

Faced with today's battle, the elite pirates showed no panic. Countless battles had honed their skills; in the fiercely competitive and ruthless world of Slaughter, those who were unqualified were eliminated. The Orc army surged forward like a tidal wave. Their stamina was truly remarkable, able to launch a furious attack immediately after a rapid march. But that was all; once the enemy entered the cannons' range, a torrential downpour of firepower erupted!

"Fire!"

"Fire!"

"Fire!"

A series of muffled cannon shots rang out, and the Orc Warrior at the forefront fell in droves like wheat being harvested.

Solid shot might not have a wide kill radius, but it was still terrifying against flesh and blood. Especially the chain shells fired from cannons, which swept across the ground in an instant, leaving behind a mess of limbs and torsos. The pirates' artillery barrage was like a bloody and Cruelty symphony, with wave after wave of frenzied firing rising and falling in a rhythmic cadence.

Three-stage firing.

Yugin had never seen anything like it, but it was commonplace to Soren.

The Warship on the Agate River had long since formed a crisscrossing network of fire; in ordinary battle command, Soren could never have achieved such a level of capability.

Because it's too difficult to command in actual combat!

But today is different; a powerful Psion stands beside Soren.

Long before the Orc army arrived, she had already set up Psionic Field, ready to transmit Soren's orders to the commanders of every Warship at any time.

Her voice, synchronized with Soren's command, resonated in the Warship commander's mind!

Compared to this revolutionary combat command capability, Soren's previous method of using pirate Command Flag to transmit orders was utterly pathetic!!!

They're not even in the same league, are they?

Wrong!

There's simply no way to compare them!

If we were to use a metaphor to describe the current situation, it would be like having the combat capabilities of the Renaissance era, but equipped with a combat command system from the Interstellar Era!

Doesn't that feel incredibly amazing?

Soren had never imagined that commanding pirates could be so easy. In the past, he had to slowly issue orders using pirate Command Flag and wait for the enemy commander to see the Command Flag before taking action, which was a cruel insult to his intelligence! Now, thanks to the Telepathy established directly by the Legendary Psion, the efficiency of commanding the battle was completely different!

The Orc army was stunned.

Because at this moment, in their minds, the enemy's artillery fire never stopped from beginning to end. The warriors of the Blade Tooth Clan who charged ahead fell in droves like wheat being harvested. They hadn't even reached the enemy yet, and they suffered heavy losses under the baptism of artillery fire!

Fear is spreading.

The ground was littered with the remains of Orc Warrior, their limbs torn and their cries of agony echoing through the air. For these creatures who revered brute force, Soren had taught them a lesson today, showing them that muscle alone could not solve all problems.

Boom boom boom!

The relentless roar of artillery fire engulfed the Orc army. The darkness prevented them from seeing how many cannons the enemy had; all they could hear was the ceaseless booming of the cannons. The muffled thuds drowned out the roars of the Orc officers. After the first wave of charges was blasted away by the cannons, the Orc Warrior at the forefront predictably scattered.

They are just mortals made of flesh and blood!

Soren gazed at the battlefield before him, shaking his head slightly. He felt a clear intellectual advantage over these ignorant Orc; if it weren't for their innate brute strength, the plan might have gone even better. But the current situation was sufficient. Soren had rescued the first group of the most devout believers, and after delivering them to safety, he planned to transport several more groups.

population.

The Port Nyanzaru is most lacking in population; it could easily accommodate 20,000 to Half-Elf.

Soren had been stockpiling food and supplies for so long in order to prepare for today's situation. He wasn't afraid of a large population. The Port Nyanzaru was under rapid construction and planning. Soren would only worry about a shortage of labor, not an overabundance of it.

Slurp slurp!

Suddenly, some fast-moving figures appeared in the darkness. The Orc army that initially drew fire was just cannon fodder; these Abyssal Gnoll that sneaked in under the cover of night were the main force.

An aged figure flew towards us at an astonishing speed!

Hundreds of lurking Abyssal Gnoll surged forth from all directions, but their target was neither Soren nor the elite pirates on the riverbank. Instead, it was Milan, standing in the center of the priests' ranks. Yugin charged directly at the little girl in front of him, roared, gripped his Bone Spear, and hurled it, intending to pin her to the ground on the spot!

All of this happened too fast.

The Abyssal Gnoll raid drew everyone's attention, and then the next moment Legendary War Shaman Yugin, with 27 class levels, charged in.

It wanted to behead the Holy Spirit Cleric, Milan, right before its eyes!

A poor little girl, not even fifteen years old, who lost her father and all her relatives in the war and was left all alone in the world.

Simply because she possessed something she absolutely needed to obtain!

The shadow of death looms.

Facing the all-out attack of [God Ascendant] Yugin, Milan's chances of surviving on their own are virtually zero!

Throughout the battlefield.

Almost no one could withstand the thunderous blow of this Legendary War Shaman, and now, under the shadow of death, only one person could save her!

--Soren!

His figure vanished the instant the Bone Spear pierced the air.
