Falling Leaf City, Agate River.

Soren stood on the deck, gazing into the distance. He turned to look at the Scarface behind him and slowly asked, "What's the Orc ' situation?"

Scarface leaned forward slightly and said, "Sir, they've been quite well-behaved lately."

Soren nodded and said in a deep voice, "Have the scouts keep an eye on the Orc ' movements, and send me any unusual information immediately."

"Yes." Scarface acknowledged and stepped back.

Orc army suffered two consecutive defeats, Yugin became more cautious in his actions.

Eugene's first defeat at Falling Leaf City, where he was utterly humiliated by Soren's Avatar summoning Ancient Brass Dragon, forced Yugin to retreat and regroup. That same night, his attack on Soren again ended in failure and heavy losses. These two consecutive defeats were devastating for Yugin Orc, likely significantly demoralizing them. Their recent Orc is probably due to fear of further heavy losses; a third defeat in a row might cripple even the Iron Blood Legion's morale.

Yugin needs a victory to inspire his Warrior, but Soren won't give him that chance!

Orc- occupied territory, on the Agate River.

Teams of Orc laborers were working diligently, felling trees one by one in the forest at the command of their overseers, and then transporting the logs back. The area near the Orc army's camp was a hive of activity, with many Orc busily working, and the outline of a foundation already taking shape. Relying on their natural strength, the Orc worked with great efficiency; in just half a day, the rough outline of an Orc Fortress had appeared.

However, this is just the beginning. Judging from the foundation already laid, this Fortress is much larger in scale!

Falling Leaf City.

A somber atmosphere filled the Council Hall, with many nobles discussing amongst themselves. One of them spoke up, "What? Orc are building Fortress on the other side of the river? What are they planning to do?"

Everyone present was filled with worry.

If the Orc have indeed built a large military Fortress on the other side of the river, it will likely be very difficult for them to reclaim their lost territory in the future.

Even with reinforcements arriving, the situation could quickly shift to one of defense and offense. However, it's easy to imagine the terrible casualties that would ensue if Half-Elf army were to attack a military Fortress built by Orc. Such Fortress is built with meticulous Spellcaster, and while the Orc' Shaman Priest -Fortress building techniques may not be aesthetically pleasing, their durability is certainly no less than that of other races. Once completed, this Fortress would be a direct confrontation with Falling Leaf City.

"This might be a good thing."

The old man sitting on the right glanced at the others. His territory was near Falling Leaf City, and even if the land across the river were reclaimed, he wouldn't gain much benefit. So he calmly said, "In that case, the Orc shouldn't launch an attack anytime soon."

"We can hold out until the Earth Walker ' reinforcements arrive!"

The Orc finally learned their lesson.

Having suffered two heavy blows at Soren's hands, Yugin's original plan to crush the Half-Elf in one fell swoop was completely thwarted. Establishing a military Fortress on the opposite bank of the river to confront Falling Leaf City is undoubtedly the wisest course of action. On the one hand, it consolidates the gains at the rear; on the other hand, it allows for flexibility in both advance and retreat. Soren, in any case, doesn't believe that Falling Leaf City is currently capable of attacking Orc military Fortress; the casualties would be unbearable for anyone.

"Yugin is planning to advance step by step!"

Soren gazed at the distant River Goddess and murmured, "If a military Fortress is truly built, and it's located on the opposite bank of the Agate River, it will be impossible for the Half-Elf to reclaim their lost territory without decades of fighting."

"Pity."

"Yugin didn't anticipate that under the Time of Troubles, Fortress practically made of paper for some beings!"

Overseas Islands, Port Nyanzaru.

A towering lighthouse appeared before them. The excited shouts of the sailors alerted George, who, through his own abilities, had quickly become close to the fleet's guards. So he soon knew that the Port Nyanzaru was approaching.

A gentle sea breeze blew in my face.

In the distance, flocks of seabirds can be seen, and under the azure sky, flying fish occasionally appear on the surface of the sea.

Everything before him was so new and breathtaking to George, who had grown up inland. He felt a vastness of the world and even developed a longing for life at sea. Compared to his past life, which was confined to the vicinity of a town and at most a trip to Falling Leaf City, everything he saw on the sea had completely overturned his understanding. For the first time, he realized how big the world was and how many things he had never even imagined existed.

The Commoner in this world actually have a very, very limited perspective.

There were quite a few people like George, and soon others came up to the deck, looking ahead with amazement.

The Port Nyanzaru appeared.

It was a huge natural harbor, which had been expanded after construction. In the distance, one could see rows of white sails, and a large number of ships were moored near the harbor. Even before getting close, one could hear the shouts of dockworkers busily unloading cargo, and every now and then a ship would raise its sails. Just from the first glance, George felt the prosperity and abundance of this place. Everything before him was a sight he had never seen in Falling Leaf City.

Even the entire inland region lacks such a thriving Trade!

Trade is wealth, Trade is vitality. The prosperity of White Horse City White Horse City was due to Trade, and its decline was due to the disruption of Trade.

We'll be there soon.

After spending some time together, the Guard had become quite familiar with George. He glanced at the young man beside him and smiled, "Someone will take care of you when we get to the dock."

George smiled and nodded, then reached into his pocket, where he found some money.

The other party had taken good care of them along the way, so George planned to treat him to a drink at a tavern after arriving in Port Nyanzaru. He was still unsure how the Church would treat them, but if he could get along well with this person, he might be able to become a caravan guard. He was quite confident in his own skills.

However, the Guard smiled and politely declined, saying slowly, "After we take you to the port, we will leave immediately."

"This time, many Chamber of Commerce of commerce have taken action upon hearing the news."

"I heard there was a fleet from Arendelle that was already planning to return with their cargo. But upon hearing Lord Soren's summons, they unloaded their goods at Shipwreck Bay without a second thought and immediately headed empty for Sand Fury Island. Giving you a ride will increase the Chamber of Commerce's annual profits by at least 20-30%. Our share of the profits will also be significantly higher."

"Therefore, the fleet will not stay here and will return to Sand Fury Island today."

One year's 'taxes' are waived.

This was incredibly attractive to the Chamber of Commerce. Under Soren's control, all shipping routes were monopolized, and the protection fees the Chamber of Commerce had to pay were substantial. A year's exemption would significantly increase their profits; otherwise, it wouldn't have attracted so many people. If it weren't for the fact that only the Chamber of Commerce from Shipwreck Bay, City of Wealth, and Port Tyler could come, fleets from other places would likely have also wanted to make a fortune. They not only gained favor with this gentleman and became acquainted with him, but also received tangible benefits.

Why not do something this good?

Port Nyanzaru.

Large ships were docked near the port, and there was a constant stream of people everywhere.

"Elder Sister, slow down!"

George helped the young woman carrying the baby down the deck, and soon a stern-faced Law Enforcement Team came to escort them. Their destination was not the port, but the Port Nyanzaru ahead. Many people curiously looked around. Their first impression of the port was not that it was bustling and prosperous, but rather that it was remarkably clean and tidy. Compared to the cities they remembered, this place was so clean and orderly that there was hardly any trash on the ground, and there was no obvious stench from the crowds.

The only smell in the air was the faint, fishy odor of the sea.

"Elder Sister, look! It's a temple! How magnificent! How splendid!"

The most prominent buildings in Port Nyanzaru are undoubtedly the Temple of Wealth and the Temple of the Sea, these two Church seem to be at odds lately. The Temple of Wealth is decorated in a dazzling gold, its exterior walls even painted with gold paint. In terms of extravagance, the Temple of Wealth has a clear advantage. However, the Temple of the Sea has its own advantage, namely the abundance of underwater treasures, making it easy to obtain things like luminous pearls and corals. Recently, both temples have been openly and covertly vying to gain the upper hand, resulting in quite fierce competition among their followers.

Once you cross the harbor, you'll find a smooth, paved road.

Many people were secretly observing this group of refugees who had traveled a long way. Their Half-Elf characteristics were quite obvious, but no one bothered them. They just occasionally watched with curiosity.

Among the escorting party, George spotted the legendary Evil Drow.

Or perhaps it should be described as Half-Drow.

These legendary, Evil beings had cold expressions and completely ignored everyone else, strictly and even harshly carrying out their tasks, rarely speaking to anyone except when giving orders. George wasn't sure if it was his imagination, but he saw a hint of panic in the eyes of these Drow Warrior, not genuine fear, but a hidden panic. This hidden emotion made them extremely serious and meticulous in carrying out orders, as if they were afraid of being replaced.

Port Nyanzaru finally came into view.

In the distance, they could see cultivated Farmland with lush green crops, a vibrant scene that filled them with hope for the future.

But!

A sudden commotion broke out ahead, accompanied by the terrified screams and cries of women and children. George instantly placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, ready for battle.

"Roar!"

A deep, resonant dragon roar echoed in everyone's ears.

On the City Wall of Port Nyanzaru, the figure of a colossal creature appeared. Its cold pupils swept over these tiny humans, and then it suddenly flapped its Dragon Wing and soared into the air!

Wyvern of nearly ten meters circled above their heads once before flying towards the sea.

George's legs trembled slightly.

The scene he had just witnessed not only startled him, but also frightened many people around him to tears. Compared to the enormous Wyvern before him, the Orc's Worg was nothing more than a puppy.

The Guard remained unchanged, seemingly very familiar with the Wyvern.

The group was quickly calmed down.

They entered Port Nyanzaru through the South Gate. George couldn't help but turn his head to look in the direction the Wyvern had flown off in, his heart surging with emotion. He murmured, "Is this Port Nyanzaru?"
