Surrounded by a group of Duergar warriors, the wizard's protective force field finally shattered. After all, the amount of damage it could withstand was limited. But when a Duergar's battleaxe struck the wizard, it suddenly bounced back as though it had hit Marble.

Soren knew the outcome of the battle as soon as he saw it. Stoneskin could withstand roughly 150 points of damage. They would have to surround the wizard and hack away at him for a full round before they could possibly break through it. There did not seem to be any high-level warriors among these Duergar. A group of warriors around Tier 2 simply could not kill a high-level wizard.
