Bang!

The heavy bonecrusher hammer came hurtling through the air, and Soren Tumble Evasion in a flustered manner, simultaneously slashing his Scimitar across the Ogre Warlord's knee—a cut that felt like striking tough cowhide. Despite the half-foot-long gash, the Ogre Warlord's attack didn't falter, as if he were completely unharmed. His entire body was clad in heavy armor; aside from his arms, legs, and the gaps in the armor, any other blows were ineffective.

A whooshing sound swept overhead, accompanied by a gust of wind and a foul stench; the Ogre smelled even worse than the Gnoll.

Soren dared not linger for a moment, Tumble Evasion and then retreating several meters, creating a distance of seven or eight meters. The Half-Elf Ranger seized this brief opportunity, swiftly nocking an arrow and firing it towards the Ogre Warlord's head. The ogre simply clenched its fist and held it in front of its face; the arrow struck its bracers and bounced off with a clang. Yas cursed under his breath, drew another arrow, aimed, and fired, but the Ogre Warlord roared and charged towards him in an instant.

Clang!

With a crisp snapping sound, As didn't have time to draw his weapon to parry. Yas fired an arrow at lightning speed and tried to dodge, but it was too late. He could only awkwardly raise his Longbow to parry, but the bow snapped instantly. The bone-crushing hammer struck his chest, caved in his ribs, and blood gushed out, leaving his chest covered in blood in the blink of an eye. The arrow had struck the Ogre Warlord's neck, but it had missed his throat, passing through from the side.

"Die!"

Soren let out a low growl, took a deep breath, and leaped into the air. The instant the Ogre Warlord struck the Half-Elf Ranger, Sauron swung his blade at the latter's neck. The tough skin was Scimitar through by the scimitar, but when it hit the bone, it was pinned to the ground. The Ogre Warlord roared in fury and swung a punch at Soren. His arm was adorned with spiked bracers, and the heavy force sent Soren flying.

Click!

With a crisp cracking sound, Soren's right arm was broken; the spikes on his wrist guard pierced below his shoulder, leaving his arm covered in blood. Soren's right arm was Paralysis pain, likely due to a tendon injury; he couldn't use any strength in it. He rolled backward in a rather pathetic manner, retreating into the distance as he stood up. One arm was insufficient to kill Ogre Warlord; the bones in his arm were likely broken, and now even fighting was extremely difficult for him.

The Ogre Warlord roared as he drew his Scimitar, but blood gushed out wildly. He was a fraction of a second slower, and large spurts of blood flowed out, leaving half his body covered in blood.

"An artery has been severed!"

Soren's expression brightened, and he casually grabbed a short sword from the battlefield and threw it.

The enraged Ogre Warlord charged again, its bleeding increasing with each movement. Within thirty to fifty paces, its speed dwindled, blood splattering behind it. As it roared and tried to swing its weapon, its massive form suddenly stiffened, then collapsed limply to the ground. Despite severe blood loss, it didn't die immediately, but its grip on its weapon gave way. Soren staggered over, and only after confirming its opponent's breathing was fading did he draw his Dagger and plunge it into its eye socket.

A row of documents appeared:

"Successfully hit the vital point!..."

"Dealt 21 points of piercing damage to the target!... Target dies!..."

"Successfully killed the Ogre Warlord!... Extracted target 'Soul Energy!..."

"Gained 2400 Slaughter Experience points."

Ogre Warlord rank three or higher, approaching rank four.

The Slaughter Experience gained from the opponent was actually higher than that from the Abyss Marilith he had killed earlier. Soren caught his breath, warily scanning his surroundings, before quickly pulling out a bandage to wrap around his crippled right arm. If he continued to lose blood, even with his Regeneration abilities, he might become extremely weak from excessive blood loss, and it could even cost him his life. He rested for several dozen seconds before approaching the Half-Elf Ranger's location. Yas was already dead, his chest completely caved in.

He died within seconds of being shot.

May your soul find peace!

Soren's expression held a hint of sadness. Although they weren't very familiar with each other, they had fought side by side before.

He reached out and closed the Half-Elf Ranger's eyes, then took out the other's Bag of Holding and put some useful items on his person. The battle wasn't over yet, but he had basically lost the ability to fight. He looked at the Strangulate battlefield, wiped the blood from his face, and quickly retreated.

He only stopped slightly after they had built up a distance of over a hundred meters.

Soren took out a bottle of Healing Potion and poured it into his mouth. Then, gritting his teeth, he forcefully snapped the bone back into place. With a muffled groan, the broken bone was back in its original position, but he still couldn't exert any force.

"Raise your Wizard Level!"

After so many battles, Soren had accumulated over 9,000 Slaughter Experience points. As he allocated these Slaughter Experience to his Wizard Level, a series of data appeared before his eyes:

"Wizard class upgraded to level 5."

"Gain 25 Skill Point (Intelligence 20 + (Intelligence 20 - 10) * 0.5), and increase Hit Points by 9 points (Class Hit Points 4 + (Constitution 20 - 10) * 0.5)."

"Master the class skill Counterspell".

"Gain a Feat Point."

The increased Hit Points from leveling up his profession significantly alleviated his injuries, and he could finally move his right arm slightly. He stood up and glanced ahead, discovering that the Ogre had disrupted the White Horse Guard's defenses. Under their brute force and rampage, the battlefield had become a series of small skirmishes. Fortunately, the effects of their long-term training were still evident; although the army's formation was disrupted, they still maintained Xiaoyuan circular formations of five to ten men each. The Ogre ' injuries had finally accumulated to a certain extent, and even their powerful Hit Points could not change their Destiny of gradually falling.

On the other side of the battlefield.

The Wizard ' concentrated Spell barrage had annihilated the Ogre Warrior. The Melf's Acid Arrow and Fire Bolt were highly penetrating, and with a few Golem providing support to the flanks, the Ogre on both sides were gradually collapsing. The Blood Frenzy was fading, and the number of Ogre was decreasing sharply. It appeared that some ordinary Ogre had already fled the battlefield due to their morale collapse.

The Storm Lord gradually gained the upper hand in the battle against the Two-Headed Ogre, and the commander of White Horse City, together with the knights, circled around and charged the enemy from the rear.

The dark clouds in the sky grew lower and lower.

As the Storm Lord roared, a bolt of lightning suddenly struck down, but instead of attacking the Two-Headed Ogre before her, it landed directly on her spear.

"Lightning Weapon!"

Crackling lightning swirled around her spear, the bursts of light almost obscuring her vision. She looked as if she were fighting while wielding a bolt of lightning, accompanied by wild roars. Her attacks grew faster and faster, her entire body enveloped in lightning. Occasionally, other people who approached from the vicinity would stand frozen in place, trembling, almost as if they had been electrocuted, once they came within thirty meters of her.

--"Static Field Legendary Force Field!"

Soren was very familiar with the scene before him; when he used Shadow Domain before, it had the same covering effect.

The Two-Headed Ogre Wizard's speed slowed down, and with a momentary lapse in concentration, it was pierced in the chest by a spear, leaving a five-centimeter-diameter gash. The flesh at the wound was scorched by lightning, and with a shrill howl, it suddenly abandoned its opponent. Its two heads frantically cast spells, disappearing from the spot and reappearing hundreds of meters away in an instant.

The Wizard used Teleportation Spell; it was preparing to escape.

"Lightning Javelin!"

Lightning bolts coalesced on the spear, and the Storm Lord roared in fury, leaping hundreds of meters into the air. The storm lifted her up, and she hurled the spear at the Two-Headed Ogre before her. The spear flashed across the sky like lightning, its speed exceeding human perception; only a streak of lightning could be seen. The next moment, a gaping, bloody hole appeared in the Two-Headed Ogre's chest.

Thump!

The massive Two-Headed Ogre collapsed to the ground, and the Storm Lord landed slowly, her breathing erratic, her expression weary. Her hands appeared charred, her arms blackened. The Ogre finally scattered en masse; many fled as the Two-Headed Ogre fell. The Storm Lord advanced with heavy steps, not pursuing the fleeing Ogre, but instead reaching the corpse of the Two-Headed Ogre Wizard. She drew a short sword from her waist and severed the two slightly charred heads.

Blood splattered everywhere.

She put the two heads into a cloth bag, nodded in satisfaction, and then turned to look back at the battlefield.

The Ogre have completely collapsed.

The cavalry pursued relentlessly, and many exhausted Warrior collapsed to the ground. The cries of the wounded filled the air. Priests used their limited Spell to heal, while others could only helplessly deliver the fatal blows to those with severe injuries. Hundreds of Ogre corpses lay on the battlefield, and the White Horse City army also suffered heavy losses.

Some of the more intact Warrior drew their weapons and severed the Ogre ' heads one by one!

These are their most important spoils of war, and also the most important spoils of war for White Horse City. These heads and corpses will be sent back into the city, both to display their achievements and to deter surrounding enemies. These Ogre heads will be pickled and hung in many places, serving as a warning to any enemies in the vicinity who intend to provoke White Horse City, showing them the consequences of their rebellion.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances.

The nearby races would never easily venture into White Horse City's territory, because their primary concern would be whether they could defeat a powerful Ogre Tribe.

This battle will soon be told by Bard, and before long, all sorts of stories will be circulating in the taverns.

Of course, Soren is not the protagonist of the story.

Perhaps one day he will become the protagonist of Legendary story, but for now he is just an insignificant Adventurer.

A row of documents appeared:

"Battle over!"

"You have successfully assisted the White Horse City army in defeating the Bone Crusher Ogre Tribe!... Your skills have been improved!..."

"Reconnaissance +5, Search +5, Stealth +2, Wilderness Survival +2, Parry +2, Dodge (Roll) +1, Dodge (Maneuver) +1, Listen +1, Heal +1."

"Because you participated in Legendary Tier battle, you gained 1 point of Legendary Degree Folk Legend."
