Cooperation and the Extermination of the Lobsterfolk

This profession was attained when a Level 2 Murloc Warrior advanced due to some special opportunity. Usually, they had eaten some water-attributed treasure and undergone enough battles before advancing. It was not part of the Murlocs' standard advancement system.

The normal advancement limit for Murlocs was Level 2 Murloc Warrior, and they had no spellcasting professions.

The Murloc Priests often seen in novels were not a normal Murloc advancement either. That was the priest profession, advanced by power personally bestowed by the Deity they worshiped.

Not just Murlocs—other races, including the Blackscale Naga, could advance into Rare professions after fulfilling certain special conditions beyond their basic advancement systems.

Advancing believers into priests required Divine Power. The higher the priest's level, the more Divine Power it consumed. Students like Lin Xiao lacked everything in the early stages, especially Divine Power, so they basically would not create priests. Like him, most chose an Apostle they could descend into at any time to guide their believers.

There was no real strategy to speak of. With the Murlocs' intelligence, they could not execute any strategy anyway. More importantly, he could not command the native Murlocs, so he could only agree on a time and have everyone charge toward the Lobsterfolk Nest together.

The remaining force from Salted Fish Thrust's fivefold burst was carried into the blow, smashing into another Lobsterfolk beside him like an explosion. A huge chunk of shell burst away, exposing a crater as wide as an ordinary person's waist. The Lobsterfolk was beaten to death on the spot. The scene was brutally savage.

After that burst, he was not weakened, but the skill had entered cooldown. He twisted aside to evade two claws as large as washbasins, then stabbed back twice, leaving two fist-sized holes.

The shell covering a Lobsterfolk's body was incredibly tough. A weak species like the Murlocs could not pierce through it even after one or two spear thrusts, but once their defense was broken, a hole would be blown straight through. They were far too brittle.

Their strengths were obvious, and so were their weaknesses.

But when they encountered the Naga, they had met their natural nemesis.

The Naga's strength, combined with the Fine Iron Short Spear in every hand, was enough to break their defense. The Naga's agility was beyond comparison to the Murlocs', and with the evasion bonus from Basic Footwork, they completely dominated in single combat. Even one against two or three, they still had strength to spare.

The melee had lasted only four or five minutes when Lin Xiao noticed that some Naga had accumulated enough combat experience to advance.

One in particular had recently been forcibly advanced into a Level 2 Naga Warrior with Faith Points. He fought with exceptional ferocity and had now accumulated enough combat experience to advance into a Level 3 Naga Warrior.
