He had helped Xia Ke take part in the eating competition. That should have earned him some points and made Xia Ke develop some favorable feelings toward him, but it wasn't enough to make her take the initiative.
That day at Misty Rain Summer Wind, with Zheng Hongyu carefully pushing things along, he had played the hero and saved the beauty. But that had just been horseplay. In Su Li's view, aside from increasing her favorable impression of him a little, it had served no purpose!

There was no later!

After leaving the dormitory, Su Li sent Xia Ke a message, then headed straight for Donghai University's east gate.
When Su Li reached the east gate, he saw that Xia Ke was already standing there waiting for him!
Xia Ke wasn't wearing the pleated skirt that had made her look so stunning. She was only wearing an ordinary outfit.
But one thing hadn't changed: Xia Ke was still just as beautiful.
This made Su Li even more certain of his guess. Xia Ke had most likely awakened a talent that could increase her looks.
Otherwise, the only difference between the old Xia Ke and the current one had been that she wore a pair of large glasses. There was no way that alone could account for such an enormous difference in appearance!
However, Su Li didn't care much about that. He didn't care what Xia Ke had been like before. As long as the current Xia Ke was beautiful, that was enough!
As Su Li thought this, he quickly walked up to Xia Ke, took her hand, and asked, "You've been here long?"
"I couldn't sleep, so I came early!" Xia Ke said, a smile appearing on her face. "But I feel completely untroubled by sleepiness now, and my whole body is full of strength."
"I couldn't sleep either, and I'm not tired at all!"
Su Li understood what Xia Ke meant. Although he really wanted to tell Xia Ke that she wasn't tired entirely because she had become a Superhuman yesterday, and that it had nothing to do with romance, he ultimately didn't.

"Coming!"
The next moment, a female secretary in black stockings and high heels came running out of another room.
"Take them to register as Superhumans. Also, leave the other matters to you!"
"Yes!"
