Die!
The man slashed down, and a massive fissure instantly appeared beneath the city!
If there had still been residents there, that single strike would have killed more than ten thousand people.
"Since I found you, your plan ends here. The game you laid out will ultimately destroy itself!" the man roared.
The longsword came down again. Every slash inevitably inflicted immense damage upon the ground.
Chen Tian dodged whenever he could, refusing to take the attacks head-on. "You really are completely useless!"
"Sure enough, your personality is still just as detestable!" the man said viciously. "Today, we'll settle both old and new debts together!"
Then, the two clashed once more.
The ground could no longer contain their battle, and the fight shifted into the sky.
They darted through the thick storm clouds. Their battle could no longer be seen clearly; only two streaks of light could be seen intertwining in the air.
Yakelis and Helles watched from below.
"Between the Master's strength and Master at his peak, which one is stronger?" Yakelis asked.
Helles looked upward and pondered for a while before speaking. "I cannot explain it clearly. We followed Master for countless ages and witnessed his supreme splendor. Toward Master, I feel only reverence and fear."
Then he thought for a moment. "As for the Master, he took the two of us in only recently. Though we have both fought him before, I always feel that his strength is unfathomable—or rather, shrouded in layer upon layer of mist."
"Hm? What do you mean?" Yakelis looked at him.
"Haven't you noticed? The Master's strength is simply not on the same level as ours."
Only then did Yakelis recall her earlier battle with Chen Tian, when he had instantly killed her with a single move, Void Split!
That kind of aura! That kind of might! It had truly surpassed her by several realms.
"The Master's strength is indeed terrifying. I simply cannot probe the depths of his true power," Yakelis said.
"Though we are only True Gods, in the Second Universe, we are at least outstanding figures beneath Master's level. Yet we were still utterly defeated."
Helles recalled rushing at Chen Tian, only for Chen Tian to defeat him completely with a single move! The shock and bewilderment from that moment still lingered in his heart. He feared they would never fade for the rest of his life.
Every universe used the same cultivation system. Even so, many backward living planets had independently explored scattered cultivation methods of their own.
Ten Thousand Stars' Martial Artist Cultivation was one such method. It was merely a core branch of the Cosmic Great Cultivation Method, and utilizing Cosmic Energy was one part of it.
It was simply that Ten Thousand Stars' ancestors had discovered that Cosmic Energy could be stored within cells, allowing later cultivation to greatly increase the body's strength.
Even if all the energy within the body was exhausted, it did not matter. One only had to keep letting the cells absorb it until they were saturated.
It had to be said that although Ten Thousand Stars' cultivation method was incomplete, it had developed an even more miraculous effect: Cell Cultivation! "The Master isn't a human from Ten Thousand Stars, so why did he appear here? And his power clearly does not come from this planet or this universe either," Helles said.
Yakelis shared the same doubts, but because she had lost to Chen Tian, she did not dare ask.
"I once used the Profound Meaning Divine Spear to fight the Master," Yakelis said.
Helles' expression changed drastically at those words. He could not believe it!
"You actually used the Profound Meaning Divine Spear?! That would provoke the universe's wrath! If beings of that level pursue this matter, we will surely die!" Helles said angrily.
Yet Yakelis merely chuckled and shook her head. "Don't worry. Listen to me first."
Helles' expression did not soften, but he calmed down.
Yakelis said indifferently, "I originally intended to use the Profound Meaning Divine Spear to fight Master to the death, but in the end, do you know what happened?"
"What happened?!" Helles asked curiously.
"The Master used an extremely peculiar move and directly destroyed the spacetime timeline we were in!"
"What!"
Helles was shocked once more. He had absolute faith in every word that came from Yakelis' mouth!
He thought in terror, If what Yakelis said is true, if Master Chen Tian could erase the space we were in and pull our true bodies out of the timeline, then his strength must surpass Master's!
Because even Master could not erase space and directly pull a living person's timeline away!
Such methods could only be achieved by existences who stood above Master! Those beings were invincible powerhouses who controlled countless starfields, creatures that stood above all living things in any universe.
They were completely outside every biological ecosystem! "I never imagined that the Master I once wanted to kill would be such an existence," Helles said with some regret.
He was, after all, a pure sword fanatic. Driven by his battle intent at the time, he had conceived the idea of charging forward.
Naturally, the outcome had not been pleasant. If Chen Tian had not held back, he would have nearly died.
"I never expected it either. Just thinking about how I once wanted Master to become my servant still gives me lingering fear," Yakelis said with a forced smile.
While the two were speaking, the battle in the sky had long since vanished.
Chen Tian and the man had fought all the way to Ten Thousand Stars' atmosphere!
Above the dark clouds lay a sea of white clouds, from where several neighboring planets could be seen clearly.
"You will ultimately lose!" the man said. "Whether in the past or now, your plan will ultimately come to nothing!"
"What the hell are you even talking about?" Chen Tian cursed inwardly.
"Hmph, even if you alone evolve reincarnation, don't even dream of accomplishing that world-overturning deed!" the man shouted.
What the fuck??? What the hell is he talking about?
Who exactly was that badass brother who evolved reincarnation all by himself?
"Crazy. I can tell that you're a madman," Chen Tian said with a pitiful expression.
But the moment he finished mocking him, the man immediately snapped back, "I'm a madman? I'm afraid you're the genuine madman!"
"For the sake of a few ants, you actually want every universe to be destroyed alongside you!"
As he spoke, the man attacked again, sweeping his sword horizontally.
Clang—
"I don't understand a word you're saying, but at the very least, it won't stop me from killing you!" Chen Tian's eyes turned cold, his entire body like an iceberg! They had fought from the ground to the sky, and now they had reached Outer Sky!
The two now stood beyond Ten Thousand Stars. This was Chen Tian's second time coming outside Ten Thousand Stars.
Looking back once more, he discovered that Ten Thousand Stars had changed completely. The beautiful scenery resembling Earth had now vanished without a trace.
But he did not pay it much mind. After all, so many things had happened on Ten Thousand Stars.
It was inevitable that Ten Thousand Stars would suffer damage.
Suddenly!
Not far from the two of them, a vortex suddenly appeared in the universe, carrying countless violent bolts of lightning! Chen Tian looked over, and the sight made his scalp prickle! Even from so far away, he could feel that terrifying aura of death.
"So this is what the universe looks like," Chen Tian murmured.
The man's eyes narrowed, countless strange lights flashing through their depths.
He said with great unwillingness, "There isn't enough time! Damn it, why did it have to appear at a time like this!"
Then he turned his head, raised his sword, and fixed his gaze on Chen Tian. "I won't waste words with you any longer. One final move—die!"
