Appearance

From outer space, Ten Thousand Stars appeared clear and crystalline, with water-blue coloring, interwoven blue-and-white patterns, and a thin veil-like atmospheric layer. Chen Tian considered its appearance almost identical to Earth’s. 98

Background

Before the Great Cataclysm, Ten Thousand Stars was an ordinary life-bearing planet with a population of 29.3 billion. A foreign black meteorite introduced novel elements that accelerated its science and physics, beginning the short-lived period known as Technology Year Zero. 71

Competition and greed among its nations eventually led to a catastrophic war that reduced cities to ash. Only about 100 million people survived, while displaced animals and the aftermath of the conflict contributed to later genetic mutations and the emergence of monsters. 71

Ten Thousand Stars developed an incomplete branch of the universe’s broader cultivation system. Its martial artists stored Cosmic Energy in their cells, producing the distinctive practice of Cell Cultivation, which greatly strengthened the body even after internal energy was depleted. 153

Blue Village existed in a separate small world opened beneath Ten Thousand Stars’ Inner Earth World by its ancestors. It was not directly connected to the planet, though the two retained countless links; the passage between them began to loosen after nearly a thousand years. 145

Origin Will

Ten Thousand Stars possessed an Origin Will: a planetary consciousness intrinsically connected to its own power and laws. Chen Tian identified this power within a Wild Porcupine and described it as not merely originating from the planet, but being Ten Thousand Stars itself. 134

Communication and manifestation

The Origin Will could communicate with Chen Tian through mental messages once he reached a level capable of touching the planet’s laws. It also manifested as green starlight and, near the planet’s end, took humanoid form on its final mountain. 151 175 10

Discovery of the planet’s consciousness

While investigating failed monster experiments, Chen Tian found Ten Thousand Stars’ power concealed in a Wild Porcupine. This discovery revealed that the planet could communicate and may influence events occurring upon it. 134

Protection against the Demon Gods

When Yakelis summoned the Profound Meaning Divine Spear, the Origin Will awakened its protection mode. Unable to fully stop the weapon itself, it appealed to Chen Tian for help against the threat to the planet and its inhabitants. 175

Battle with the Master and destruction

The Origin Will appeared before Chen Tian as the Master arrived, fearful of the coming conflict. It later empowered Chen Tian during their battle, but the collision between Chen Tian’s Battle Halberd and the Master’s attack destroyed nearby planets and caused Ten Thousand Stars itself to collapse. 151 152 10

At the end, the fully awakened Origin Will used its remaining strength in a futile attempt to halt the collapse. Accepting that the planet could not be saved, it transformed into a figure, wondered about Chen Tian’s future, and disappeared as the last mountain broke apart. 10

Aftermath

One hundred years after the destruction, Ten Thousand Stars’ original location remained empty and desolate. However, an egg-like star had appeared there, leaving the significance of its emergence unresolved. 14
