Silver Armor—actual Silver Armor. With three sets of Silver Armor, he was confident he could take that Minotaur territory. The losses would still be severe, but as long as he could seize it, the iron mine occupied by the Minotaurs would undoubtedly fall into his hands. From his investigation, it was a medium-sized iron mine. Though it could not produce Mithril Iron, the iron ore alone was worth over a thousand gold coins.
At the banquet.
Pape Lawrence and Lajos Assad were conversing.
Seeing that Lajos Assad was already somewhat drunk, Pape Lawrence seemingly casually spoke with curiosity.
"My friend, forgive my presumptuousness, but how did you transport Black Iron Armor and Silver Armor into the Northern Province through the Habs Merchant Guild's blockade? That must have been difficult, no?"
"It truly is incredible."
Pape Lawrence's curiosity was mixed with amazement.
"Baron Pape Lawrence, those were not transported from elsewhere. I would not dare violate Marquis Lehman's rules. I purchased them from a friend. He has a group of goblins and an iron mine, so such things naturally amount to nothing."
Lajos Assad muttered drunkenly.
"A friend?"
"A Large Iron Mine!"
"Goblins!"
Pape Lawrence's brow twitched, and his heart was shaken even more.
"My friend, may I ask which Baron this friend of yours is? How have I never heard of him?"
Pape Lawrence suppressed the unease in his heart and questioned him again.
However, he discovered that Lajos had already collapsed onto the table and fallen asleep.
"Lord Lajos!"
"Lord Lajos!"
He called out quietly several times, but received no response at all.
Pape Lawrence frowned, but still had someone take Lajos away to rest.
"Father!"
After Lajos was taken away, a young man quickly stepped forward.
"How is the matter I had you investigate these past few days?"
