In Yangxian, he judged Zhou Chu’s gang and helped Zhou Chu confront the three scourges, then found a Moon Laurel Tree fragment and advanced to a Saint-Grade Nascent Soul.

• Ding Ling shattered the Black Mountain Old Demon, freeing Xi Shi and the other beauties, but the City of Wrongful Deaths vanished with him as the survivors escaped to the Human Realm.
• A second figure wearing Ding Ling’s form seized Xi Shi and Nie Xiaoqian, but the city’s power destroyed his body and carried Ding Ling to the moon, where Jiang Ziya revealed the Evil God’s threat.
• Jiang Ziya taught Ding Ling the Jade Clarity Immortal Method and other arts, entrusted him with the Divine Whip, and sent him into the Mountains and Rivers State Diagram to seek a way to save the living.

• Ding Ling refined the tiger’s Demon Core and the Jiaolong’s treasures, raising his Nascent Soul to Saint-Grade as his sacred aura surged toward the heavens.

Ding Ling left the moon, gathered allies and techniques at Kunlun, then returned to the capital and killed Pudu Cihang, exposing the demonic corruption of the imperial court. He appointed new ministers and set out for Guobei County, where he arrived as the gods’ Emotional Power continued to gather.

• Wu Gang awakened Zhou Chu’s new body, entrusted Ding Ling with Chang’e’s last wish, and entered reincarnation with her remnant soul while Jiang Ziya ascended.
• Ding Ling reached the Kunlun Mountains, impressed Zhi Qiu Yiye with his speed and lightning, and entered the Kunlun Sect, where he defeated Chang Luo and won An Ru’s respect.
• Ding Ling obtained the Divine Whip, mastered the Kunlun Sect’s library techniques, taught An Ru the Jade Clarity Immortal Method, and ordered the sect to help unify the Daoist schools.
• Zhuge Liang reunited with Ding Ling after nearly ten years apart, and Ding Ling guided him and the Kunlun disciples before bringing them to the capital.
• Pudu Cihang attacked Ding Ling at the western city gate, but Ding Ling destroyed his human shell and demon body, then refined the Centipede Spirit’s Demon Core.

Ding Ling uncovered the corruption surrounding Guobei County, defeated Fake Ding Ling, and returned to establish the Nine Provinces Divine Sect. After founding its base at the Heavenly Court ruins, he cultivated to Dharma Form Great Perfection and formed a Sacred Grade Golden Core, but found that further progress required an Immortal’s help.

• Ding Ling returned to Lanruo Temple, where Chen Jinnan’s possessed spirit attacked him and sacrificed itself to weaken the evil spirit before Ding Ling extracted Chen Jinnan’s remaining souls and learned about the Divine Domain.
• Ding Ling traveled to the capital, accepted Wanwan and Shi Feixuan as disciples, established the Nine Provinces Divine Sect, and appointed Zhuge Wolong as Right Prime Minister.
• Ding Ling identified the ruthless Fake Ding Ling as the City Lord of the City of Wrongful Deaths, spared Li Xiuning after discovering God Domain Power had affected her, and secretly left the palace to hunt the impostor.
• Ding Ling gathered Pandora’s Box lids from corrupted mortals in Guobei County, entered and collapsed the Divine Domain, then began weakening the box’s spirit while the Underworld’s forces attacked.
• Ding Ling killed Fake Ding Ling when he emerged from the Yin-Yang Road, while Han Xin and Yan Chixia’s allies fought the Underworld’s forces around Guobei County.
• After months of cultivation and governing, Ding Ling brought his followers to the Heavenly Court ruins and declared them the site of the Nine Provinces Divine Sect, with Zhuge Liang and Zhuge Wolong overseeing construction.
• Ding Ling used the Mountains and Rivers State Diagram to draw power from the Peerless Spirit Vein, reached Dharma Form Great Perfection with nine Dharma Forms, refined his body, and formed a Sacred Grade Golden Core.

Ding Ling strengthened the Nine Provinces Divine Sect, destroyed Black Mountain Old Demon’s forces, and restored order across the Underworld. After completing his mission and preparing the realm for his departure, he set out to open the Sky Ladder and met Cheng Shifei and Yunluo.

• Ding Ling survived two Ninefold Lightning Tribulations, reached a Root Bone of 99.9 points, and guided his disciples through rapid cultivation in the Scroll World.
