In Plane Wars, although tactics, strategies, and other schemes and arrangements were also discussed,
what ultimately decided the course of victory or defeat between both sides was, generally speaking, fundamental strength.
The Half-Orc Legion was average in overall strength, limited in numbers, and lacked both a Space Fortress and the long-range firepower support of large Magician Legions.
Commanding such a legion and hoping to win at a small cost was, in itself, not very rational.
The restrictive rules of a Micro Plane's cramped environment prevented Level-4 lifeforms from entering. The highest combat power that could be brought to bear was only at the demigod level.
In truth, the Demigod-level combat power of this invading legion was not bad.
Leaving aside Saine's personal strength, the two Demigod-level Knights from the Wizard World alone could often defeat opponents of the same level in one-on-one combat.
Saine wanted the Half-Orc Legion that had entered Bobolu World to suffer as few losses as possible.
It was not because Saine was giving Eugene face that he had taken the initiative to contribute so much.
Rather, Saine wanted to use this Plane War to improve his abilities in legion command and Plane War planning.
This was also one way of tempering himself.
Judging from the results so far, he had done quite well.
When Bobolu World's resistance coalition gradually came into contact with the vanguard of the Half-Orc army and a great battle was about to unfold, Saine summoned the two Demigod-level Knights and Half-Werewolf Tosk before him and voiced his plan.
"I intend to summon a forbidden spell," Saine said.
The forbidden spell he spoke of was not the single-target Eye of Penetration spell he had used in the previous battle, but a true large-scale, destructive forbidden spell!
With one's own power, annihilating hundreds of
