The Ash Holy Tower's war legion numbered five hundred thousand in total. Aside from nearly seven hundred magicians above Level One, the lower ranks consisted mainly of centaurs, Minotaurs, lower sea folk, some subhumans, Dark Beings from the Underground World, and Winged Race and Zerg slaves from the White Sand World.
Saine's legion composition was rather complicated, owing to his relatively shallow foundation.
Those lower sea folk were all sea creatures that inhabited the waters of the Land of Ashes. The subhumans and Dark Beings from the Underground World were likewise Homeland Beings of the Land of Ashes.
Saine had not originally intended to bring these creatures into the war. They had been recommended by the Goddess of Wealth, Wojin.
Saine had to pay almost nothing for these lower-ranking cannon fodder to join the battlefield.
Whatever they could seize on the alien plane battlefield would depend on their own abilities.
Yet when the time came, they would still have to share a portion of the vast war profits they plundered from the foreign battlefield with Ash Holy Tower.
Given Saine's advocacy for the subhuman race during the Wizard Alliance Assembly, gathering these Underground World subhumans had gone far more smoothly than expected.
Although there was no subhuman kingdom founded by a Level-4-or-higher Subhuman King within the Land of Ashes, the behavior of these subhumans showed that subhuman communities throughout the Wizard World still possessed certain channels of contact.
As for the Dark Beings of the Land of Ashes, they currently all followed the lead of the Spider Queen, Rose.
