Much of the feedback concerning the forging details of this Heavenly White Jade Pillar indicated that its creator's attainments in the art of artifact forging far surpassed Saine's own.

And Saine intended to use the insights gained during the process of reforging this staff to imitate some of the original creator's methods, thereby advancing his own accomplishments.

Though the paths of artifact forging differed, they ultimately led to the same destination.

By the standards of Immortal Domain artifact forging, the fact that this originally "ruined" staff had managed to reach the level of a low-grade, low-tier World-Class Secret Treasure was already the result of its creator's exceptional skill and painstaking efforts to salvage it.

The Long-Armed Ape was also the sort to treat his word as a nail driven into wood. Since it had agreed to hand its weapon over to Saine

for study for a time, it would not go back on its word at the last moment.

After muttering a few more words, the Long-Armed Ape could only watch Saine disappear into his Combined Fortress Group.

Conducting an alchemy experiment during wartime was quite a test of an alchemist's abilities.

The main issue was the limited time. Saine also had to stay alert for the arrival of new war assignments.

His previous attainments in alchemy had always been stuck at the level where he could at most forge low-grade, mid-tier World-Class Secret Treasures.

But with the conclusion of this alchemy experiment—especially after studying and deciphering many of the profound principles of Immortal Domain artifact forging—Saine felt that his future alchemical abilities had a chance of reaching the level of low-grade, high-tier World-Class Secret Treasures.

When Saine stepped out of the laboratory, he brought out the Long-Armed Ape's staff as well.

This monkey appeared to treasure its weapon dearly.

been standing guard and protecting Saine, preventing outsiders from disturbing him.

"But if you eat one, your strength should increase considerably," Saine said.

Saine's words left the Long-Armed Ape standing there in a daze.

It truly had gone to great lengths to resist eating this flat peach.

As for why Saine was so familiar with the properties contained within the flat peach... when Saine took a peach identical to the Long-Armed Ape's from his Space Equipment, the white-haired monkey could not help but suck in a sharp breath.

For Saine was holding not only pink flat peaches, but also bright yellow plums and tender fruits that resembled infants.

This Long-Armed Ape had spent many years in the Immortal Domain and possessed Great Luo Golden Immortal-level strength.

Naturally, it recognized exactly what the things in Saine's hands were.

"So you have so many good things in your possession. But I'm still taking this flat peach back," the Long-Armed Ape muttered.

"Even if I have to stake half my life, I will repay your kindness and settle this Karma," the Long-Armed Ape said earnestly.

Saine himself had already profited immensely from this alchemy experiment. He had not expected this Immortal Domain divine monkey to come knocking at his door, practically begging him to make use of it.

Saine did not immediately make any demands. He merely said that when he needed its help in the future, he would naturally contact it.

It was also during this exchange that Saine learned the monkey's surname was Yuan.
