When Befu's command base center and the enemy-rear battlefield area where Naige'er was stationed came under attack separately.
Elsewhere across the vast starfields of the Wizard Civilization and the Galente Federation, other Dominator-class experts of the Wizard Civilization also suffered surprise attacks from the Minghe Empire.
However, the attacks on those Dominators were not as urgent as the predicaments faced by Naige'er, Befu, and the others. An Level-8 Dominator had actually descended upon them.
The attackers faced by the other Wizard Civilization experts were mostly beings of the same level. Perhaps there were simply more of them, or perhaps their opponents stood at a higher realm.
For instance, at the far end of the Galente Federation's territory, near the Shi'a Empire starfield, the Level-7 Dominator King of Shadows was suddenly blocked by three hostile Dominators.
The Minghe Empire's selection of Dominators for assassination was, to a great extent, based on intelligence gathered and recommendations provided by the Galente Federation.
The King of Shadows before them was of average strength, had always preferred to travel alone, and was deeply hated by the Galente Federation.
If the Minghe Empire had not targeted him, it truly would have made little sense.
The three Minghe Empire Dominators sent to assassinate the King of Shadows came from remarkably balanced origins: an imperial general, a Pharaoh Temple Dominator, and a King of Monsters.
The imperial general engaged him head-on, while the Level-7 Pharaoh sealed off the King of Shadows' retreat.
That King of Monsters was also exceptionally skilled in tracking and stealth. It looked very much like a bat.
Suddenly surrounded by three formidable enemies, with only the bat-like King of Monsters being evenly matched with him while the other two Minghe Empire experts were clearly stronger, the King of Shadows fell silent for a moment.
