The "hidden support force" mentioned by Knight Beipeng should have referred to those demons from the Kada Star Thief Group.
Saine had not known much about such matters before, but he had seen more in recent years. Especially after forming a deeper connection with the Spider Queen Rose, he had vaguely guessed some of it.
But Saine had never spoken of it publicly, nor would he seek confirmation from others.
Sometimes, it was enough to maintain this tacit understanding.
The Tianming Empire's legions also did not mention those demons. Regarding Beipeng's suggestion that the Bairen Empire might send troops to participate in the Divine Descendant World War, the Tianming Empire expressed that they would be more than happy to fight shoulder to shoulder with allies from the Wizard World.
However, Situ Kong, the Tianming Empire's Prime Minister, ultimately placed particular emphasis on one question: in what manner would Wizard Civilization sustain the military supplies of the Tianming Empire's great army?
"The total force our Tianming Empire intends to deploy has already exceeded one hundred million."
"What you see before you now is merely our Vanguard Legion."
"If Wizard Civilization can shoulder a stable rear supply line for us, it will indeed spare our Tianming Empire a great deal of trouble," Prime Minister Situ Kong said.
Within the Tianming Empire's bureaucratic system, Prime Minister Situ Kong was one of the few figures at the upper levels who was not particularly willing to undertake a distant expedition to support Wizard Civilization.
He acknowledged that Wizard Civilization had provided assistance that could not be ignored during the Tianming Empire's founding.
But Prime Minister Situ Kong considered matters more from the Tianming Empire's own standpoint. To him, the Tianming Empire's strength and prosperity were far more important than repaying those so-called "debts of gratitude."
