Once the World-Extinguishing Impact Light sequencer entered its ready-to-fire state, red light began flashing throughout the Combined Fortress Group, inside and out.
Especially within the fortress group, alarm sirens and the communications noise of massive energy transmission echoed without end.
Every stationed magician within the Combined Fortress knew that a high-powered strike was about to be launched.
The magicians closest to the giant metal robot's chest could even sense that the temperature in the surrounding fortresses had risen considerably, while elemental energy had become far more active.
These subtle changes all foretold that the coming strike would be anything but ordinary.
