Saine and the others entered the Guishi without much trouble.

At the entrance to the Guishi, the ones responsible for inspecting those coming and going were, surprisingly, three Immortal Domain Cultivators with Level-5 lifeform strength.

One was a Green-Robed Cultivator, one a bald monk, and one a ram demon with half a horn broken off.

These three cultivators also indirectly revealed the backers and power structure behind this Guishi.

Saine gave the Bald Monk an extra glance.

This fellow differed from the Immortal Domain Buddhist cultivators Saine had encountered before.

Not only did this Bald Monk lack the peaceful aura expected of a Buddhism Sect cultivator, but he also wore a string of skull Buddhist Beads around his neck, looking utterly savage and menacing.

Even as he inspected Saine and the others for entry, the creature was gripping some organism's hind leg and gnawing on it, his mouth shining with grease.

Using the Faceless Mask, Saine easily determined that the hind leg in that wine-and-meat monk's hand had come from, at the very least, a Level-4 lifeform.

As expected of a "Guishi" that fell outside the laws of both Wizard Civilization and the Immortal Domain—every kind of heretic and fiend could be found here.

But since this place was located within Wizard Civilization territory, Saine and the others had no need to worry too much.

"Looks like you're new faces. Once you get inside, you'd better not stir up trouble!"

"Heh heh, the Immortal Domain and your Wizard Civilization are currently in the honeymoon phase of cooperation."

"We're only trying to earn a living. We don't want any conflict with you." The Green-Robed Cultivator, a Level-5 Late Stage cultivator who appeared to be the leader, weighed the large chunk of high-grade Soul Crystal Saine had handed him as he spoke.
