When Saine had previously visited Rose, he had already sensed distinct death and Darkness Power.
But only after arriving here, at Naige'er's place, did Saine truly understand what "ultimate darkness" meant.
"You wanted to see me?" Naige'er asked without looking up, busying himself at the laboratory table as he handled the specimen upon it.
Naige'er had still been willing to receive Saine. The fact that Saine had been allowed into his private laboratory was proof enough.
Moreover, the specimen lying flat on Naige'er's laboratory table was no ordinary thing.
It seemed to be... a Dominator corpse?
The richness of Naige'er's resources was far beyond anything Saine could imagine.
This Dominator corpse was utterly unfamiliar to Saine. Its skin was grayish, and it reeked of rot.
He had no idea where Naige'er had acquired it.
In response to Naige'er's question, Saine gave a magician's salute and went straight to the point. "I would like to invite you, Master Naige'er, to join the coming war against the Faelun Continent."
"As one part of the price for your assistance, I am willing to offer you this." Saine took a section of tail stinger from his Space Equipment.
It was a Sharu Tail Stinger.
Saine had considered that Naige'er was a master craftsman of Corpse Refinement Synthetic Beasts, and would presumably be interested in such a special Dominator-class material as a Sharu Tail Stinger.
This thing was of no use to Saine anyway, so he might as well take it out as a gift to befriend Naige'er.
Naige'er was the true uncrowned king of the Black Domain. Saine's wife Lina, Mei Kaili, and the others had established black towers and developed their forces in the Black
