Saine and the others' journey to the Secluded Dark Star Territory had not gone smoothly.
Within the borders of the Minghe Empire, there were now almost no starfields that could be considered absolutely safe.
Many starfields located behind the Minghe Empire's lines, even if they had not yet been occupied, remained under constant threat from the Evil Tide Civilization.
On their way to the Secluded Dark Star Territory, Saine and the others experienced two major battles.
In both battles, Evil emperor-level experts from the enemy side had appeared.
As for the countless low- and mid-level harassment battles in which no Evil emperor-level experts appeared, they were simply too numerous to count.
However, the closer they drew to the Minghe Empire's Mother Plane and the three surrounding fronts, the more Saine and the others could feel that the Evil Tide threat in the vicinity had diminished considerably.
It was not that there were fewer Evil Tide Legions, but rather that the Evil Tide Civilization apparently had not yet finished preparing for an all-out charge against the Minghe Empire's Mother Plane.
That time would not be far off.
Based on what Saine had seen alone, he had already discovered innumerable Purple Evil Tide Legions amassed in those enemy-occupied regions along his route here.
When a Dominator like Saine observed a starfield, he did not need to approach too closely or venture deep inside to investigate.
Merely gazing at an Evil Tide-occupied starfield through a Dominator's vision, the concentration of purplish-brown Evil Tide Factors seeping out from within and around that starfield was enough to reveal the approximate number of Evil Tide Legions it contained, as well as the degree to which the starfield had been demonized.
The Evil Tide Civilization would not give the Minghe Empire much time to catch its breath.
