Although the Crimson Flame Civilization had been remarkably high-profile on the battlefield lately, acting with flamboyant ferocity and practically presenting itself as the core of the local resistance forces.
When a true catastrophe descended upon their civilization, however, there were very few super civilization powers willing to step in of their own accord and extend a helping hand at such a critical juncture.
Even allies such as the Water Mirror Civilization, which had long since signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Crimson Flame Civilization, offered only token support at this life-or-death moment. They did not dispatch legions of sufficient scale to reinforce the Crimson Flame Civilization's frontline battlefield.
In truth, a slight comparison between the current situations of the Crimson Flame Civilization and the Mechanical Civilization would reveal that they were highly similar. Both were trapped in dire straits, besieged by different dimensional forces; both were gritting their teeth and holding on amid the flames of war.

Of course, this did not mean Saine had made many so-called "true friends."
At their power level, where the continued existence and development of an entire civilization were the core premise, so-called friendship had long become as thin as water. The foundation maintaining their relationships had never been sincerity, but naked exchanges of interest.
The reason Saine could attract so many powers to provide aid when the Mechanical Star District came under attack was fundamentally because he could offer these "allies" sufficiently generous returns, allowing every party to get a share of the spoils from this war.
More importantly, Ancestor of Eternal Fire was currently desperate for more powers
