Before Locke and the others began to withdraw, more than once he had wanted to draw upon the Origin Rules deeper within Dark Universe Time-Space and drag the Destruction Divine Kingdom Faction into one more vicious fight!
Perhaps that would have allowed him to leave behind even more of the Destruction Divine Kingdom's legions.
It might even have made Locke, the Lord of Eternal Day, Saine, and the others pay an even heavier price.
But then what?
Dark Universe Time-Space had already been beaten half-crippled.
Drawing on its origin again would be the same as bleeding himself.
Deep within the Dark Universe Core, there were in fact already several Ancient Death Rule Source Wells that the Dark Nether Death God had briefly awakened.
Slumbering within those source wells was the death essence that Dark Universe Time-Space had accumulated over countless years.
Under normal circumstances, they would only be activated when Dark Universe Time-Space faced a true catastrophe of annihilation.
Once the source wells were fully opened, the vitality, souls, and Death Marks of the surrounding star regions would all be drained dry in a single breath.
That kind of power was naturally terrifying.
But it did not come from nowhere.
What it burned was Dark Universe Time-Space's own essence.
The Dark Nether Death God looked at those source wells glimmering faintly in the depths of the rules, and in the end, he still did not ignite them all.
Because he knew Locke was waiting too.
The Destruction Demon God had never feared destruction on an even greater scale.
If Dark Universe Time-Space truly sacrificed vast star regions into deathly barren wastelands, Locke would only obtain even more Destruction Factor!
