The vast majority of its star sectors had already lost the ability to continue nurturing life.
However, some ancient Origin Nodes still retained faint activity.
Saine devoted more of his mind to the Level-9 Mechanical Avatar and personally went to inspect three of those nodes.
The first node had only a Gray Nebula left, constantly collapsing inward.
Some kind of dimensional rule hub should originally have existed there, but now all marks capable of representing the native will had already dissipated.
The second node, meanwhile, still had an extremely enormous rule wound remaining.
A large number of Dimension Supreme Treasure fragments were scattered around the wound.
The auras possessed by a few of those fragments even made Saine think of the rule remains left behind after the Demon Cave Master's fall.
The third node was even more direct.
The Mechanical Civilization Fleet discovered a completely solidified origin tide there.
At the center of the tide, a rule core so shattered that its original appearance could no longer be made out was still slowly releasing higher-dimensional particles outward.
The Decayed Civilization had also discovered this rule core in the past.
