Nor would they, like Mechanical Civilization's Rule Anchor Points, directly take on passage, observation, or war functions.
They were more like some kind of coordinates.
Or like Hongmeng Dao Seeds quietly buried between different higher dimensional planes, one after another.
The beacon in Light Universe Time-Space had fallen in a fringe star domain that had once been contaminated by Dark Universe Time-Space and later purified by the Light God Race.
The beacon in Demon Cave Time-Space, meanwhile, was hidden beside an Ancient Rift left behind after the Demon Cave Master fell.
The beacon in Evil Swamp Time-Space was the most hidden.
It was not within the Origin Node controlled by the Evil Spirit King, nor on the outskirts of the Lord of Evil Swamp's Slumber Zone, but had fallen into a stream of foul mist at the boundary where two currents of origin authority met.
The three places had nothing to do with one another.
But when Saine placed them into the same high-dimensional coordinate map, he discovered that an extremely faint Hongmeng Arc existed between the three.
