Before the battle, Destruction Demon God Locke had issued a clear directive to the High-Level Strong Practitioners of the Destruction Divine Kingdom Faction.
During the Destruction Time-Space war, all key orders involving rule-breaking, passage stabilization, Battlefield Blockade, and overall advancement had to be carried out in coordination with Mechanical God Emperor Saine.
This order was not something to be discussed.
Vegeta could dislike Saine's commanding style.
But he would not defy Locke's will.
What was more, Saine's judgment was indeed effective.
Empty-Faced Burning Monarch was continuously recovering with the aid of the Dark Obelisk phantoms. Even Kakarot had already sensed it.
Naturally, Kakarot would not retreat because of this.
He would only fight even more fiercely.
But Vegeta knew that if Empty-Faced Burning Monarch were allowed to keep recovering through those obelisk phantoms, then even if Kakarot grew stronger as he fought, he would still be dragged into an extremely long War of Attrition.

He did not go help Kakarot besiege Empty-Faced Burning Monarch.
