The first thing to meet the Dark Golden Tide was the shadow of a pitch-black spear hovering above the three Destruction Star Zones.

In Gear Time-Space, several engineering sectors had already stopped sending feedback to the Skynet display that covered nearly an entire wall of the laboratory.
Two Realm-Suppressing Rings had not been shattered outright. Instead, the Destruction Crystal Wall supporting them, along with a vast stretch of nearby space, had been swept away by the dark golden flood.
The engineering units still securing mechanical supports to the crystal wall had not even had time to disengage.

Just as the shield was about to break, a Dark Obelisk Phantom descended from the side.
The Empty-Faced Burning Monarch had arrived!
