But all that reached Saine was a compiled battle report and a few transport adjustments.
The Eternal Day Time-Space had held its main bases, and subsequent trade was still underway. Nothing required him to immediately set aside his work and go there in person.
After reading the report, he had Skynet forward the relevant information to the Mechanical Civilization's senior officials responsible for those affairs.
Their agreed meeting place was still far from the core territory of the Gear Time-Space.
There were no massed Combat Legions here, nor any of the devices used to seal the Spirit-Seizing Bone Emperor during the previous handover.
The World-Realm Emperor Monarch arrived first.

The pair of thin black wings had folded away, with only a little profound radiance lingering along their edges. Compared with their appearance through the light screen earlier, their power was clearly much more stable.

As he spoke, the World-Realm Emperor Monarch placed something he had brought before him.
It was not another supreme Destruction-type treasure, but a set of materials Saine had previously requested as supplements. They had spent different lengths of time in a source-devouring environment. Some had already lost most of their usefulness, while others remained relatively intact.
Saine briefly examined them, then handed them to the Mechanical Unit beside him to put away.
