City of Balas bore more than a few similarities to the City of Mozhsuobula Saine remembered.
At the very least, its scale was already nearly comparable to the City of Mozhsuobula of those days.
The only difference was that the City of Mozhsuobula had been built beneath a large fluorite vein, making the entire city relatively bright.
But Balas City before him, viewed from afar, was a stretch of darkness.
Only a crimson Magma River flowed slowly along the city's edge.
The black city and red Magma River together gave rise to an involuntary sense of palpitations and bone-deep chill.
Even that dusky-black city itself seemed like some giant beast crouching in the darkness.
Ordinary Wizard World magicians would probably feel somewhat intimidated upon arriving here.
But Saine seemed entirely unaffected. Flicking his Magic Robe, he flew straight toward the city walls.
As an Underground City with a population of several hundred thousand, Balas City naturally possessed its own high-end combat strength.
