Ch. 1924Kels Starfield

Saine learned that the Tianming Empire had completed its preparations for war and assigned him, Beipeng, Mel, and other Wizard Civilization figures to conquer the weak Kels Starfield. The chapter ended by introducing the Kels Divine System, whose growth had stalled after the God of Black Water died in a divine system war.

  • Saine heard from Beipeng that a True Spirit-level Wizard Civilization Magician had devastated the Galente Federation's forces three hundred years earlier.
  • A guard captain summoned Saine from his laboratory to Gongsun Wudi's war meeting, where the Tianming Empire outlined its plans to attack the Divine Descendant Star Region and disrupt Federation supply routes.
  • Gongsun Wudi assigned Saine, Beipeng, Mel, and the other Wizard Civilization figures to conquer the Kels Starfield, a small region with only seven Complete Rule Planes and a Level-5 Late Stage opponent.
  • Beipeng declared that she could handle the Kels Starfield, while Saine explained that the war would grow more intense once the fighting reached the Divine Descendant Star Region's depths or Federation reinforcements arrived.
  • The chapter described the Kels Divine System's five gods and explained that its development had stagnated after the God of Black Water died in a divine system war.

Ch. 1925A Different Path

The God of Black Mist had built a prosperous, Federation-backed future for the Kels Starfield while protecting his small divine system from the Divine Descendant World's wars. With the Wizard Civilization's legion approaching, he ordered the other gods to defend their planes and temples, though his warning that they should not flee “not yet” left his intentions uncertain.

  • The God of Black Mist learned from Federation officials that the Wizard Civilization had sent a legion to attack the Divine Descendant World and that the Kels Starfield lay in its path.
  • The God of Twilight questioned whether the Galente Federation would truly send forces to help the Kels Starfield.
  • The God of Black Mist recalled how Federation investment had brought resources and material prosperity while allowing his people to remain devoted to their gods.
  • The God of Black Mist ordered the other gods to hold their planes and temples, adding that they should not flee—at least, not yet.

Ch. 1926A Nobody

Pike, an ordinary worker in Black Fortress City, lived a peaceful life shaped by faith and factory labor while the Federation’s war with the Wizard Civilization disrupted local industry. His routine ended when a terrifying black phantom descended over the city and the Black Mist Temple’s divine envoys began falling from the sky.

  • Pike worked long shifts at Hals Industries and believed that his job, wages, and the Black Iron Train were gifts from the gods.
  • Pike learned that Federation managers had fled as war approached, leaving factories in disarray, while his friend Jeda had disappeared after warning him to take care.
  • On payday, Pike bought Rainbow Flowers for his girlfriend Mary and waited for her between their factories.
  • Mary ran toward Pike, then turned terrified as a jet-black phantom descended over Black Fortress City.
  • Black Mist Temple divine envoys rose to confront the phantom but fell from the sky, while Pike and Mary watched in fear as the city’s residents fled.

Ch. 1927Magnificent Energy Pillar

Saine and his forces attacked Mistwater World, where the God of Black Mist and two other native gods had gathered behind the plane barrier. With Fumila and the Magic Cube amplifying his forbidden spell, Saine unleashed a colossal energy pillar that broke through the world’s defenses, leaving the God of Black Mist convinced the plane was doomed.

  • Saine sent Mel to attack a plane guarded by one Level-4 lifeform and dispatched Beipeng and the God of Evening Drool to other battlefields.
  • Saine and Beipeng reached Mistwater World, where the God of Black Mist and two other gods had activated the plane barrier and mobilized the plane’s power.
  • Saine decided to break through the barrier while Beipeng kept the native Level-5 god from escaping, and Fumila transformed into an eight-winged Star Gate focusing device.
  • The Tianming Empire troops formed battle formations against Federation energy attacks while Beipeng protected Saine as he chanted his forbidden spell.
  • Fumila and the Magic Cube amplified Saine’s spell into a massive energy pillar that evaporated the surrounding mist and pierced Mistwater World’s defenses.
  • The God of Black Mist sensed the overwhelming power outside and concluded that Mistwater World was finished.

Ch. 1928Fires on All Sides

Saine shattered the Plane Barrier of Mistwater World and sent Beipeng, Fumila, and the allied forces into battle, ordering them to capture the God of Black Mist’s war fortress. Meanwhile, the Galente Federation struggled to defend its threatened worlds as the Immortal Domain Dragon Race arrived and cornered the Tenth Pharaoh King.

  • Saine and Fumila blasted open Mistwater World’s Plane Barrier, and Saine told Beipeng to lead the attack.
  • Beipeng and the Tianming Empire Legion charged into the battlefield as Fumila led more than a hundred thousand Mechanical Angels through the vortex.
  • Saine ordered Fumila to capture the Federation Planet-Class War Fortress with as little damage as possible.
  • Federation Marshal Schumann redirected his Dominator-Class fleet to the main front after Divine Descendant World came under attack, exposing the Federation’s shortage of high-level combat power.
  • The Immortal Domain Dragon Race arrived at the Wizard Civilization Battlefield and pursued the Tenth Pharaoh King, whom Chao Feng and other dragon beasts cornered.

Ch. 1929Drawing Upon the Power of Death

The Tenth Pharaoh King faced seven dragon Dominators after capturing four of their young, while Chao Feng trapped her in a sealed law space. She revealed that she had come to the Wizard Civilization Battlefield to absorb death particles and began spreading her Death Law domain as the dragons demanded their children back.

  • Chao Feng used his Space Element laws to trap the Tenth Pharaoh King and her two Dominator-class Kings of Monsters in a sealed law space with six other dragon Dominators.
  • Suan Ni demanded that the Tenth Pharaoh King release the captured dragon children, and she displayed Bai Xing, Mo Yan, Hanliu, and Qixiu sealed inside four Crystal Balls.
  • The Tenth Pharaoh King offered to return the four captives and explained that she had come to gather the Power of Death from the Civilization Battlefield.
  • The Pharaoh Kings had previously questioned the Tenth Pharaoh King's unusual growth, as she had advanced rapidly by absorbing death particles.
  • The Tenth Pharaoh King unfolded her Death Law domain, sending a gray Death Ripple outward beneath her feet.

Ch. 1930Fusion Monster

The Tenth Pharaoh King allowed two Dominator-class Kings of Monsters to fuse and strengthen their evolution, creating a formidable Fusion Monster. The Immortal Domain Dragon Clan attacked as the fusion finished, and Suan Ni’s flames began to overwhelm the monster.

  • The Tenth Pharaoh King encouraged the Spider King of Monsters and Beetle King of Monsters to fuse, and their combined strength and Dominator Soul grew substantially.
  • The Flood Demon King and Fu Xi attacked the Kings of Monsters while they were merging, damaging the newly formed creature’s compound eyes.
  • The Spider King of Monsters and Beetle King of Monsters completed their fusion into a giant creature wielding Death and Darkness laws.
  • Suan Ni charged the Fusion Monster, bit at its beetle neck, and engulfed it in a Dominator firestorm that made it roar in pain.

Ch. 1931Fleeing

Little Tenth fought Baxia, Chao Feng, and Bi An while using four captured dragon cubs to restrain them, then threw the Sealing Crystal Balls away and fled with the two Kings of Fusion Monsters. The dragon beasts rescued the cubs, while Little Tenth endured their attacks as she escaped.

  • Suan Ni and Candle Dragon joined the assault on the two Kings of Fusion Monsters, while Baxia, Chao Feng, and Bi An surrounded Little Tenth.

  • Little Tenth flung the four Sealing Crystal Balls in different directions, forcing Baxia, Chao Feng, and Bi An to break off and pursue Bai Xing, Mo Yan, Hanliu, and Qixiu.
  • Little Tenth opened a crack in the spatial prison and struck at the Flood Demon King to give the merged Kings of Fusion Monsters time to escape with her.
  • The two Kings of Fusion Monsters followed Little Tenth as Suan Ni, Candle Dragon, and the other dragons attacked her, leaving her wounded and fleeing without retaliating.

Ch. 1932Intercept Sect

Level-6 Magician Tomov delivered the Wizard Civilization’s wartime cooperation proposal to Daoist Duobao on Golden Turtle Island. Duobao revealed the Intercept Sect had been waiting for the envoys and consulted its core Sages about the offer, leaving their decision unresolved.

  • Tomov met Daoist Duobao and presented the Wizard Civilization’s letter of state, which also served as a Law Contract.
  • Duobao hosted Tomov and the envoy delegation on Golden Turtle Island while he consulted his fellow Intercept Sect members, and he gave Tomov a quasi-World-Class Secret Treasure before he left.
  • After Tomov departed, Duobao sealed the Dao Palace and met privately with Golden Spirit Mother, Kui Niu, and Zhao Gongming, revealing that the Intercept Sect had anticipated the Wizard Civilization’s approach.
  • Duobao presented the contract to Golden Spirit Mother, Kui Niu, and Zhao Gongming and asked what they thought of its terms.

Ch. 1933Reply

The Intercept Sect agreed to send forces to aid Wizard Civilization against the Minghe Empire, while Wizard Civilization’s negotiations with the Exposition Sect stalled. White Brow Sage offered a limited contingent of Shu Mountain Sword Sect and affiliated sect Sword Cultivators, leaving Wizard Civilization with mixed results as it sought allies.

  • Golden Spirit Mother agreed to support Wizard Civilization and said she could bring in the Phoenix Race, while Kui Niu pledged to act with his demon allies.
  • Zhao Gongming supported joining the war, and Daoist Duobao ordered the Intercept Sect to prepare for combat in the Cosmos Great World Battlefield against the Minghe Empire.
  • Daoist Duobao wondered where Master Tongtian’s reincarnated body might be and hoped the war would help the Intercept Sect recover and grow.
  • The Exposition Sect withheld its commitment and sought to join Wizard Civilization’s campaign against the Galente Federation rather than face the Minghe Empire, leaving negotiations deadlocked.
  • White Brow Sage offered volunteer Sword Cultivators from the Shu Mountain Sword Sect and its affiliated sects, including the Emei Sect and Qingcheng Sect.

Ch. 1934Surrender

As Wizard Civilization’s envoys stirred the Immortal Domain, its factions considered whether to join the war while Laozi investigated signs of an approaching calamity. In the Kels Starfield, Saine’s forces overwhelmed the God of Black Mist, who surrendered.

  • The Buddhism Sect sent Dragon Subduing and Tiger Taming to seek out Wizard Civilization’s envoys.
  • Sage Nvwa told Qingluan that she would preserve the Immortal Domain’s stability and let Wukong and others represent part of the Demon Race in the war.

  • Laozi questioned Xuandu about unusual signs, then performed a divination that deepened his concern about a coming calamity.
  • Saine’s army broke through Black Mist World’s barrier, and Beipeng killed a Level-4 god before the God of Black Mist surrendered.

Ch. 1935Resource Plunder Mode

After the God of Black Mist surrendered, Saine inspected the Black Mist World’s drone-component factory and seized the Kels Divine System’s wealth while considering how Wizard Civilization could profit from ordinary labor. A new Galente Federation technological force appeared outside the starfield, and Saine went to confront it with the God of Black Mist.

  • Saine ordered the God of Black Mist to show him Thomas Industries No. 2 Production Plant and examined its drone components.
  • A Tianming Empire officer reported that Mel had defeated the God of Twilight, while Beipeng pursued the escaping God of Scorching Wind.

Ch. 1937Practice Makes Perfect

Saine and Beipeng faced the Galente Federation’s reinforcements at the Kels Starfield border, with Fumila and Saine combining their powers to hold off the Federation forces. As the battle intensified, Saine unleashed increasingly powerful magic, including a Micro Forbidden Spell that astonished Beipeng.

  • Beipeng halted her pursuit of the God of Scorching Wind after the Federation fleet’s barrage forced her to retreat to the Meteorite Belt, where Black Death Particle Rays wounded her arm.
  • Saine arrived at the Kels Starfield border with Fumila and the recently surrendered God of Black Mist and others, then decided against requesting reinforcements from the Tianming Empire.
  • Beipeng agreed to fight the Federation’s Level-6 mech while Fumila took on its stronger fleet group, and Saine fused with Fumila using a glowing blue Magic Cube.
  • The Federation launched an all-out offensive, and Saine and Fumila fought more smoothly together as Saine unleashed magical attacks alongside weapons projected from the Magic Cube.
  • Saine summoned a Micro Forbidden Spell, filling the starry sky with a sea of falling meteors that swallowed countless Federation warships and astonished Beipeng.

Ch. 1938Boundary Sealing Stone

  • Gongsun Wudi learned that Saine and the others had encountered a sizable Galente Federation fleet and sent Ximen Feixiao to reinforce them.
  • Gongsun Wudi studied the Boundary Sealing Stones surrounding the Divine Descendant Star Region and ordered the Tiger Brave Army to break through where the stones were sparsest.
  • Kidd traveled to a ruined Mid-Level World overrun by demons and appeared before the demon Dominator Gustavo.
  • Kidd told Gustavo that he had brought the latest orders from Wizard Civilization, and Gustavo reached out a hand.

Ch. 1939Blood Crystals

Demon Overlord Carter Gustavo received a message confirming that the White-Eyed Demoness would stay in the Federation's heartland, then assigned Kidd to serve as the liaison between the Kada Star Thief Group and the Tianming Empire. Kidd accepted and was rewarded with Blood Crystals harvested from a devastated world.

  • Carter Gustavo read the Magic Letter and burned it after learning that the White-Eyed Demoness would continue her sabotage mission in the Federation's heartland.
  • Gustavo told Kidd that the Tianming Empire would join the campaign to conquer and develop the Divine Descendant World.
  • Gustavo appointed Kidd as the liaison between the Kada Star Thief Group and the Tianming Empire, and Kidd agreed despite his fear.
  • Gustavo ordered a Level-6 Peak Demon King to give Kidd Blood Crystals taken from the ruined world below.
  • Kidd accepted the Blood Crystals, whose red-stained bundle contained the life essence of creatures across an entire Mid-Level World.

Ch. 1940Experiment

After the Federation Army withdrew from the Kels Starfield, Saine arranged a pursuit and told the God of Black Mist to repair the devastated planes and resume production. Resting aboard the damaged Planetary Fortress, Saine planned to study its technology with the Magic Cube.

  • After two years of fighting, the Galente Federation Army withdrew from the Kels Starfield, leaving much of it ruined.
  • Saine sent Ximen Feixiao and Hu Fu to pursue the retreating Federation forces, with Fumila and Beipeng supporting them.
  • Saine instructed the God of Black Mist to repair the damaged planes, resume production, and promised to support his application to join the Wizard Alliance.
  • Saine decided to study the Kels Divine System's production model for possible use across the Wizard Alliance.
  • Saine returned to the Planetary Fortress and planned to use the Magic Cube to experiment with its mechanization.

Ch. 1941Giant Metal Fortress

Saine and Fumila began an experiment to modify the Planetary Fortress by fusing it with the Magic Cube, transforming it into a colossal humanoid metal robot. The unstable creation began showing signs of falling apart as Kidd arrived in the starry sky.

  • After months of research, Saine stored a strange flame of laws and prepared to begin the fortress modification experiment with Fumila.
  • Saine summoned the Magic Cube in the Planetary Fortress’s control hub while Fumila stood by to protect him, and the fortress began shaking and deforming.
  • The Planetary Fortress transformed into a humanoid metal robot nearly twenty thousand meters tall, astonishing the God of Black Mist and the others who witnessed it.
  • Kidd emerged from a spatial vortex and wondered which Wizard Civilization master had created the giant robot.
  • As the robot continued moving and testing itself, violent law fluctuations surged through it and it began to fall apart.

Ch. 1942Experimental Accident

A spatial disturbance caused Saine’s fortress experiment to spiral into a collapse, and Kidd’s sudden appearance disrupted the test. After Saine contained the damage and heard Kidd’s mission, he flew with him toward the Tianming Empire’s main army, leaving the fortress under repair.

  • A Level-6 presence and a strange spatial fluctuation disrupted Saine’s experiment, causing the Planet-Class War Fortress to begin collapsing.
  • Fumila went outside and joined Beipeng and other Wizard Civilization powerhouses in surrounding Kidd, who proved his identity and said he meant no harm.
  • Saine contained the fortress’s collapse, but the accident damaged most of its weapon and defense systems and killed the divine envoys inside.
  • Kidd explained his identity and mission to Saine, who then flew with him toward Gongsun Wudi and the Tianming Empire’s main army.
  • Saine told the God of Black Mist that the fortress’s maintenance crew had died, and the God offered to send more people to operate it.

Ch. 1943Codename: Messenger

Saine escorted Kidd to meet Gongsun Wudi, where Kidd delivered a secret message from Demon Sovereign Carter Gustavo and Saine learned the Tianming Empire’s next targets. Gongsun Wudi assigned Saine’s Combat Legion two low-level planes to conquer after breaking through the Boundary Sealing Stones, while Saine argued they could take part in the assault on Mid-Level Worlds.

  • Saine reflected on how his idea to transform a giant War Fortress into a war robot had been inspired by the transforming Intelligent Robots of Cybertron Planet.
  • Kidd shared stories of his travels and his exploration of the Annihilation Vortex, and he and Saine grew more familiar on the way to Gongsun Wudi’s camp.
  • Saine introduced Kidd to Gongsun Wudi as the Wizard Civilization’s messenger, and Kidd handed her the information entrusted to him by Demon Sovereign Carter Gustavo.
  • Gongsun Wudi sent the information to the emperor and showed Saine a weak point in the Divine Descendant Star Region’s defenses, marked by Boundary Sealing Stones.
  • Gongsun Wudi assigned Saine’s Combat Legion to break through the Boundary Sealing Stones and conquer two low-level planes, but Saine argued they could attack Mid-Level Worlds instead.
