The sect was founded by a cultivator who mastered the Azure Ripple Divine Codex and rose to become a top expert of the Yan Imperial Dynasty. Since its founding, only five members have been recognized as Ancestors: the founder, a Second Ancestor who saved the sect during a crisis, and three later Ancestors—including the Fifth Ancestor—who expanded the Azure Ripple Domain. 388 390

Lin Chen’s Entry into the Sect
