Suffocation Order
"Please sit down."
Linsey led the perceiver back to the second floor, and was very polite, even inviting him to sit down.
But the perceiver dared not be so casual; he stood there, motionless.
The way he looked at Linsey was as if he were staring at a devil.
Fuerzi, who had rested for a while, seemed to be feeling better. Looking at Linsey and the Perceptor before him, he asked in confusion, "This is...?"
Linsey explained simply:
"He just overheard our conversation."
"I don't mind if others know about this, but if someone is blinded by greed, it could cause even bigger trouble."
Upon hearing Linsey's words, the Perceiver immediately raised his hand and swore, "My lord, I swear to the Essence and the world that I will never tell anyone about anything here!"
"I was just confused for a moment, that's why I made such a stupid choice."
The observer's expression was one of fear and anxiety.
Fuerzi was a believer, and his kind nature even made him feel pity for the perceiver before him:
"Although these guys are blinded by greed, they haven't really done anything utterly heinous."
"If they had only overheard our conversation, that would be..."
Before Fuerzi could finish speaking, Linsey suddenly interrupted him:
"Fuerzi, of course I don't intend to kill him."
"But you should also be aware that he overheard our previous conversation and naturally understands things that ordinary people shouldn't know."
"..."
Fuerzi instantly realized the meaning behind Linsey's words.
He turned to look at the perceiver, wanting to say something, but dared not speak because of the Silence Order.
Linsey naturally took the lead in the conversation:
"Ordinary people would never dare to approach someone with the name Mu Le Na Hu En and risk getting into trouble of that level."
Upon hearing this, the perceiver's expression became extremely tense.
But Linsey paused, then suddenly emphasized:
"And you are a perceiver."
"When Fuerzi and his companion had their accident, did you sense anything?"
"..."
The perceiver's face turned pale in an instant.
He lowered his head, and out of the corner of his eye, he unconsciously glanced towards the window next to him.
"With me here, you definitely can't escape."
Linsey's calm voice rang out, shattering the perceiver's illusions:
"Tell me, what did you discover that day?"
"Fuerzi is restricted from Silence Order, but you don't have that problem."
"..."
The perceiver clenched his fists, cold sweat pouring down his face, but still didn't speak.
Seeing this, Linsey reached out and slapped it.
"Ah!!!"
The person who perceived the pain let out a wail and began to convulse.
The adventurers outside also heard the scream, and some even left on their own.
Just as Linsey reached out to pat the Perceiver, she placed the [Poison Thorn Wood Armor] into her Equipment Slot.
The poison from the [Poison Thorn Wood Armor] is not fatal, but it causes intense pain.
The person's willpower was simply insufficient to resist the pain, and he quickly gave up completely. "Please... please, stop..."
"I'll tell you everything!"
Linsey then let go.
The perceiver collapsed to the ground with a thud, gasping for breath for a long time before finally raising his head again.
This time, however, he no longer dared to remain silent as he had before.
"That night, I did notice Lord Mu Le Na Hu En's whereabouts."
"He took Fuerzi's companions into the caves of Echo Valley, and they haven't come out since!"
Linsey continued to ask:
"Since you know everything, you should be able to tell whether the rumors are true or false. Why then did you join the others in surrounding Fuerzi's residence?"
The Perceiver glanced cautiously at Fuerzi:
"I've only heard from Nature Follower that there are things that can protect them in the forest."
"Besides, isn't he a believer...?"
Upon hearing this, it was Fuerzi who sighed.
Because of the past divine catastrophe, believers have always been treated this way, and even if he is Nature Follower, he cannot escape this prejudice.
Fuerzi, who was used to this treatment, waved his hand, his expression only showing bitterness.
He didn't even utter a single curse at the other person! "..."
at the same time.
Seeing Fuerzi's actions, and then looking at Linsey, the Perceptor tentatively asked:
"See, I've said everything I needed to say. Now, can you let me leave?"
"I swear on my life I will never leak this secret!"
Linsey replied calmly, "You didn't finish saying what you needed to say."
The perceiver looked completely bewildered. "Huh? What are you talking about? I've already told you everything I know..."
Linsey suddenly interrupted, "Besides Mu Le Na Hu En, there should be another Law Knight, right?"
"..."
The perceiver looked panicked; he opened his mouth, but said nothing.
After being exposed by Linsey several times, he was thrown into a panic and didn't know how to deal with it.
Linsey suddenly stood up and looked at Fuerzi beside her. "Fuerzi, you should get some rest."
"While I can't make a perfect guarantee, I will do my best to rescue your companion if the opportunity arises."
Fuerzi's expression was a mixture of emotions; he realized that Linsey was about to leave.
Although the two only met briefly, and their acquaintance lasted no more than an hour.
But the gratitude in his heart still brought tears to his eyes.
"I... I..."
Fuerzi's voice abruptly stopped.
The Nature Follower suddenly clutched his own throat and began to struggle on the spot.
It felt as if something was blocking his airway, making it impossible for him to breathe! "Fuerzi?!"
At this moment, Linsey still had the [Decryption Game] module activated.
He saw the changes in the Essence on Fuerzi's body.
They immediately realized that the Organizer's Craft on the other party had changed from Silence Order to a stronger constraint that silenced their breathing!
"Hold on!"
Linsey rushed over and caught the other person.
He immediately used his own Essence to try to expel the influence of this technique.
But the abilities of a Seventh Stage organizer were far beyond Linsey's capabilities; it seemed Fuerzi was about to suffocate to death! "What skills, or items..."
Linsey's eyes swept through her bag and finally spotted an item that could change the situation.
He pulled out Emergency Respirator and pressed it directly against Fuerzi's face.
"Hiss—whoosh—"
Fuerzi immediately resumed breathing.
The function of Emergency Respirator includes providing breathing for a person in a state of suffocation.
In this way, the limitations of the Organizer's Craft were finally bypassed.
Fuerzi's condition began to improve, and the intense Organizer's Craft he had been using began to fade away.
A full quarter of an hour later.
Linsey removed the mask from Fuerzi's face only after the Emergency Respirator's duration ended.
The other person, still shaken, touched their throat. "I... I think I'm alright?"
Linsey replied, "Mu Le Na Hu En must have sensed something, or something happened, which is why the Silence Order on you has become a vicious constraint that makes it hard to breathe."
"..."
Linsey briefly comforted Fuerzi.
This man doesn't know much, and even if he were freed from the Silence Order, he wouldn't be able to provide any more information.
It was confirmed that there was no further progress made with Fuerzi.
Linsey walked directly to the Perceiver and picked him up like a chick, lifting the Awakened One who had lost the will to resist. "Let's go, it's our turn now."
"The night is beautiful tonight, let's go for a stroll in Echo Valley."
