Linsey instinctively glanced at the map.
The youth who had come before him was still marked green, symbolizing goodwill, so Linsey did not rashly attack.
"That Feathered Serpent is evil to its core."
"For its own sake or everyone else's, we can't let it escape like this!"
"No, no, no. It's as good as dead." Hearing Linsey's suggestion, the youth shook his head, the smile still on his face. "After taking so many of my sword strikes, the constraints of the rules have already begun affecting its body. That thing is nothing more than a mindless beast now."
Linsey frowned.
"It really is in bad shape, only a step away from death, but..."
The youth suddenly emphasized his words.
"Your attack just now!"
"I could clearly sense that some essence it embodied had undergone a drastic transformation. It even showed a tendency toward self-destruction. I don't think it can make it out alive."

As he said this, the youth looked in the direction the Feathered Serpent was flying.
Beneath the clear blue sky lay the clouds covering the eastern part of the world.
"Further east from here lies only the Barren Grassland World. Until a world emerges at the next Cosmic Frontier, this is the edge of the universe. If it enters there, Bena may be a blockhead, but he won't let an evil creature like that go. Not to mention the people from the World Beyond."
As he explained, the youth turned back and smiled at Linsey again.
"So compared to that doomed magical beast, I think you're far more important... huh?"
