The stone giant Johnson that Abel possessed had previously attracted the covetous attention of some of the Wizard Guild's powerhouses. But after Abel became an Alchemy Grandmaster, the matter became exceedingly simple.
"Legendary Wizard Dylan, I understand!" Abel replied with a smile.
"By the way, you won't blame me for taking it upon myself to arrange your advancement ceremony, will you?" Legendary Wizard Dylan asked with a smile.
He had already prepared an Honorary Elder badge from the Wizard Guild before coming. As long as Abel successfully advanced to become an Alchemy Grandmaster, he would have to take up the position of Honorary Elder.
The Wizard Guild needed to bring this Supreme Expert of the alchemy profession into its fold. It concerned the guild's authority.
That was why Legendary Wizard Dylan had announced in advance that the Wizard Guild would hold Abel's advancement ceremony. Bringing it up now was actually his way of apologizing for making the decision rashly.

In fact, he had not made any plans in that regard. He had thought that an advancement that was not particularly troublesome should happen naturally and was not worth making such a fuss over.
