Mande United Army

Fifty kilometers southwest of Mande City, a military camp lay nestled, complete with watchtowers, armories, barracks, and training grounds, where soldiers patrolled back and forth.

This was the Mande United Army's main base, housing over a thousand soldiers.

These troops, funded by drug trafficking, casinos, scam parks, and brothels, were Lu Wenbo's greatest trump card and the source of his dominance in the Mande City region.

Inside a luxuriously decorated villa within the camp, Lu Wenbo clutched his phone tightly, roaring, "You can't even deal with a bunch of farmers? Useless, all of you. What good are you to me?"

The person on the other end was the mayor of Mande City, who was frantically reporting the riots occurring in the city.

Upon learning that a large portion of his enterprises had been seized and destroyed by Jieko Company's security department, the warlord flew into a rage. He ignored the mayor's pleas for help and slammed down the phone.

"Someone! Immediately order a full mobilization, prepare weapons and ammunition. We're going into the city to quell the riots. Anyone from Jieko Company will be killed without mercy."

Lu Wenbo summoned his adjutant and issued the murderous command.

"Yes, General. I'll gather the troops immediately."

The adjutant, sensing Lu Wenbo's foul mood, dared not further provoke him and quickly departed with the order.

Soon, shouts and assembly calls echoed throughout the camp as waves of soldiers poured out of the barracks and gathered in the training grounds.

Lu Wenbo changed into a general's uniform adorned with medals, a command sword at his hip, and strode onto the command platform before the training grounds. Standing before the microphone, he declared in a loud voice, "My children, today, a premeditated and vicious riot has occurred in Mande City. Thugs hired by Jieko Company have attacked Mande City, seizing and destroying our casinos, brothels, and scam parks. They even boasted of leveling our Mande United Army."

His voice carried through the microphone, and the soldiers in their green uniforms shifted slightly, their eyes hardening with ferocity.

"Where do you think the money comes from that allows you to live a prosperous life in the Mande United Army? It all comes from my various enterprises in Mande City. Jieko Company is cutting off our roots. Can we let them get away with it?"

"No!"

A thunderous roar erupted from the assembled soldiers. Over a thousand men raised their rifles, their anger at Jieko Company serving as their response to Lu Wenbo.

As soldiers of the Mande United Army, they knew exactly what they were doing and never hesitated to follow a warlord in committing evil. As long as there was money to be made and fortunes to be gained, they were willing to kill and commit atrocities.

"Jieko Company, a despicable and shameless corporation, attempting to collude with those country bumpkins to overthrow my rule. Today, we will show them that no matter how capable Jieko Company may be, the ones in charge in Mande City are us, the Mande United Army. Children, take up your rifles and sabers, and follow me into Mande City. We will slaughter every last person from Jieko Company."

Lu Wenbo bared a cruel smile and loudly announced the mobilization order.

"Kill, kill, kill! Slaughter them all!"

The soldiers rose in a frenzy, slinging their rifles over their shoulders and orderly heading towards the military vehicles.

Several infantry fighting vehicles rumbled to life, and an armed helicopter circled overhead. This was the entirety of Lu Wenbo's military might.

"Jieko Company, do they really think it's still ancient times! Trying to achieve something with country bumpkins."

Watching his magnificent army set out, Lu Wenbo felt a surge of pride.

What a joke, this Jieko Company. They relied on a bunch of country bumpkins and barely had any decent firearms.

As soon as his army arrived, they would crush them like ants.

Just as the army emerged from the camp and was about to head for Mande City, a military vehicle at the front suddenly slowed and stopped, causing the long convoy behind it to halt as well.

"What's going on?"

Lu Wenbo, seated in a jeep, asked impatiently. The staff officer beside him hung up his communicator and said in astonishment, "General, there's someone blocking the road ahead. He claims to be the Boss of Jieko Company and wants to see you."

"What? You're not mistaken?"

Lu Wenbo was stunned by the words, almost thinking he had misheard.

He hadn't gone looking for trouble with Jieko Company, and their boss dared to come looking for him alone? Wasn't he afraid of death?

"General, the other party claims his name is Su Jie, the Boss of Jieko Company," the staff officer confirmed, his face beaming with surprise.

If they could capture the big boss of Jieko Company first, then more than half the battle would be won.

A cold smile played on Lu Wenbo's lips. If not for Jieko Company, he wouldn't have suffered such losses. As for Su Jie, the mastermind behind it all, he wished he could tear him limb from limb.

Meanwhile, at the front of the army, Su Jie stood alone, arms crossed, gazing at the approaching force.

Most of the soldiers marched on foot, their individual equipment consisting of an AK rifle. There were only a few dozen vehicles, including several infantry fighting vehicles and one armed helicopter. This was the entire firepower of the Mande United Army.

"How rudimentary! They've made so much money, yet they haven't equipped their troops properly. All of it must have gone to personal enjoyment."

Su Jie shook his head, recalling the news he had heard.

It was said that Lu Wenbo indulged in pleasure, owning private jets, and having purchased numerous mansions and luxury cars worldwide. Most of the funds earned through various illegal means were spent on personal luxuries.

As Su Jie surveyed the army, over a dozen armed soldiers surrounded him, looking at him with mocking and indifferent eyes.

"He's the Boss of Jieko Company? So young. It'll be fun to torture him later. I want to see him beg for mercy."

"I heard he's Chinese. Do they really think we'll reason with him? He actually came alone."

The soldiers chattered about Su Jie without restraint, erupting in laughter from time to time.

"The General said to bring him to him."

A platoon leader lowered his walkie-talkie, having received the order. With a wave of his hand, the soldiers surged forward, intending to apprehend Su Jie and take him to Lu Wenbo.

Su Jie stretched his shoulders and chuckled, "No need to trouble yourselves. I'll go see him myself."

As soon as he finished speaking, the soldiers caught a glimpse of a silver flash in their peripheral vision. Then came a sharp pain in their necks, their vision spun, and they lost consciousness.

In an instant, the soldiers surrounding Su Jie had their necks severed, their heads rolling to his feet.
