Twenty-four hours passed quickly. Neither the Jieko Group nor Beautiful Country had retreated, which meant the war had begun.

This was a special transport fleet belonging to the Jieko Group. It consisted of two tank landing ships, one amphibious assault ship, two supply ships, twenty-five cargo ships, and four fuel tankers.

The fleet was escorted by two destroyers and two frigates.

The entire transport fleet had a total tonnage of over one million. Most of that came from the huge transport ships, which were packed to the brim with weapons and logistical supplies. They were responsible for delivering them to Sakura Country and maintaining the Jieko Group army's combat strength.

As the U-12 fleet passed through these waters, the nearby Ryukyu Islands were home to a large number of Beautiful Country military bases.

Before the Jieko Group and Beautiful Country went to war, the Jieko Group's fleets had sailed openly through these waters.

Beautiful Country knew full well that these fleets were heading to conquer Sakura Country, but it could only watch helplessly. At most, it could threaten the Jieko Group, but it could not take any further practical action.

But things were different now. The two sides were at war, and the domestic orders forbidding them from opening fire were no longer in force.
