Zhang Lingshan unified Jin City, completed the Wordless True Scripture, and accepted He Qianshou’s invitation to travel to Jade City. On the way and after reaching Jiang City, he encountered White Night’s agents, pursued cultivation gains, and became entangled with Li Ziming and the coming scripture auction.

• Zhang Lingshan traded the Yuan Family the Wordless True Scripture for the Blade Demon's Manual and wealth, then targeted the Zhu and Sha Families for their scripture copies.
• Zhang Lingshan combined three Demon Arts, learned that Huo Liuyin had buried his brother Zhang Lingchuan, and set out to attack the Huo Family.
• Zhang Lingshan defeated Huo Liuyin, sealed the Spirit Child General, and killed the leaders of the Huo, Zhu, Sha, and Yuan Families, but still lacked the final scripture slab.
• Zhan Ming brought Zhang Lingshan the last slab, completing the Wordless True Scripture and granting him the Heavenly Eye, while He Qianshou later recruited him and invited him to Jade City.
• On the journey, Zhang Lingshan fought Mei Yuhuan and swallowed her Paper Spirit, then captured and refined Rain Woman and other White Night agents before keeping Rain Woman’s Ghost Treasure.
• Zhang Lingshan drove off Ironback Mountain Lord, killed Zhao Hui and his bandits, and raised his Cutting Intent while traveling to Jiang City.
• In Jiang City, Zhang Lingshan visited the auction selection event, encountered Li Ziming, and refused his offer to become a Yellow Turban Warrior after gaining energy from tea and Six Viscera Cakes.
• Zhang Lingshan practiced recreating the Blade Demon's Manual, subdued a snake demon, and startled Huang Fu with his speed and strength.

Zhang Lingshan fought over the Wordless True Scripture, advanced his cultivation, and became entangled in the Demon Suppression Division’s political fallout. After awakening from a crash landing, he destroyed White Night’s headquarters and headed back to Jiang City to sell the Scripture.

• Zhang Lingshan killed Huang Fu, brought the Snake Demon and Huang Fu’s corpse to the Xue Family, and clashed with Tong Gang, who tried to seize the Void Serpent’s corpse.
• Zhang Lingshan refined the Void Serpent’s Pouch Space, traded manuals and weapons at the South Sea Auction House, and received South Sea Jade from Xu Zhongyin for delivering the Bright Jade Pearl.
• Zhang Lingshan shattered his Qi and Blood Furnace to gain the Qi and Blood Long Rainbow, killed Tong Gang and other Esoteric Sect fighters, then destroyed the Stone Slab Scripture as Zhiyin Chan Shi tried to assemble it.
• Zhang Lingshan survived the Demon Suppression Division’s attempt to make him a scapegoat, refused Zhao Junshan’s offer, and studied the Flowing Cloud Art and Separation Intent.
• Zhang Lingshan awakened Spiritual Consciousness, crashed near a Mountain God Temple, and killed the grave robbers and Heavenly Corpse Sect figures who tried to capture him.
• Zhang Lingshan destroyed White Night’s headquarters and absorbed its ghosts, then spared Qing Ming’s group after she agreed to find the Ghostly Charm Exchange and discussed Li Ziming with him.
• Zhang Lingshan improved his Flowing Cloud Art, Cutting Intent, Demon Arts, and Spiritual Consciousness, then returned toward Jiang City disguised as a Red Cloak Guard to sell the Wordless True Scripture.

Zhang Lingshan helped Zhao Huanyang and the Three Yang Society, captured Night Zi, and killed Yuchi Yuan when she attacked his allies. After investigating the Heavenly Corpse Sect with Kong Dagui’s team, he entered the Mountain God Temple and found himself in the Mist Realm.

• Zhang Lingshan agreed to help Zhao Huanyang use the Soul Return Bridge, restored Xue Gu, Xu Dongmei, and other ghosts to life, and captured Night Zi with Celestial Crane Daoist’s talisman.
• Zhang Lingshan learned that Night Zi’s Mystic Ghost Golden Body Art was cursed, then refused Yuchi Yuan’s offers and turned down her demand to hand over Celestial Crane Daoist.
• Yuchi Yuan led an assault on the Three Yang Society, and Zhang Lingshan killed her and the other attackers before Zhao Huanyang displayed Yuchi Yuan’s body as a warning.
• Zhang Lingshan fused nine Intents into Profound Gold Intent, then met Kong Dagui and helped investigate Tong Gang’s connection to the Heavenly Corpse Sect.
• Zhang Lingshan joined Dongfang Hua’s team to pursue Grave Robbers, and Kong Dagui captured Elder Qiu after the group fought him and rescued Yu Si Si and Song Qingyu.
• Zhang Lingshan persuaded Kong Dagui to investigate the Pine Bamboo Duo Elders’ deaths, then entered the Mountain God Temple with him after its uncanny presence took their companions’ souls.
• The temple separated Zhang Lingshan from Kong Dagui, and Zhang Lingshan crossed into the Mist Realm, survived the human-faced Ash Moths, and met Xiahou Ge and Guo Meijun.

Zhang Lingshan survived the Mist Realm, killed Guo Meijun and Ye Yitong, and clashed with Buddha Pity Chan Master before returning to Jiang City. He gathered South Sea Jade through ransom, weapon sales, and the auction, where he strengthened his Spirit and began cultivating his organs as the story left him Demonizing to absorb overwhelming medicinal power.

• Zhang Lingshan escaped the Mist Realm with Xiahou Ge and Guo Meijun, rescued Kong Dagui from the Mountain God Statue, and recovered the Bright Jade Pearl.
• After Buddha Pity Chan Master drove Zhang Lingshan’s group from the temple and attacked him, Zhang Lingshan survived, learned to absorb magic power, and resolved to prepare for the South Sea Auction.
• Zhang Lingshan killed Shen Monkey and Mei Yuhuan, gathered South Sea Jade, and captured Yuchi Liushen and Qin Buyin to demand a ransom from their families.
• Kong Dagui explained organ-nourishing cultivation and offered to recommend Zhang Lingshan for the Demon Suppression Envoy selection, while Zhang Lingshan prepared a new identity for the auction.
• At the South Sea Auction, Zhang Lingshan sold Contract Tokens, outbid Li Ziming for the Spirit Void Three Purities Jade, and raised his Spirit to Level One.
• The auction’s bidding dispute over South Sea Sandalwood ended with Mu Hongwei winning, while Zhang Lingshan sold and bought items to accumulate more South Sea Jade and cultivation materials.
• Yuchi Wenmin suspected Zhang Lingshan was Heart Fire Young Master after he spied through the walls, and Zhang Lingshan began Demonizing when several medicines overwhelmed him.
