• Zhang Lingshan defeated Zuoqiu Huang, reclaimed the Fire Spirit Stone Mine, and advanced to the Meridian Opening Realm after absorbing Flame Grass energy.
• Zhang Lingshan and Mu Huanyue traveled to Weapon City, where Mei Qing'an challenged him and Guan Weigong agreed to forge him a weapon.
• At the Weapon Refining Grand Competition, Zhang Lingshan uncovered Qi Yunyao’s plan to sacrifice Weapon City and escaped with survivors after striking her demonic sword.

Zhang Lingshan captured the South Sea Red Tide, gained Sea Urchin Aconitum, and deepened his ties to the Dang Family and the Demon Alliance while pursuing the Supreme Mystery Scripture. After opening his Throat Mansion and entering the Mist Realm, he expanded his Purple Mansion beyond one thousand mu and learned he might be trapped there for life.

• Zhang Lingshan captured a pirate ship, entered the South Sea Red Tide, and reached the island palace where Nan Yu had released the tide and taken Sea Urchin Aconitum.
• Zhang Lingshan defeated Nan Yu, collected the Sea Urchin Aconitums and palace treasures, and arranged for Feng Zhengfeng to move the palace into the Pouch Space.
• Zhang Lingshan helped Mu Huanyue deliver a Guanyin Purifying Life Pill to Dang Zi'an, copied the Dang Family's Red Letter Supreme Mystery Scripture, and returned toward Jianghai City.

Zhang Lingshan cultivated in the Mist Realm, reunited with Zhang Lingyu, and helped the Hua Family break free of the Fallen Flower Sect. He gathered most of the Supreme Mystery Scripture volumes while facing new enemies and exploring Flower Bridge, where he left with 34 of 36 volumes copied.

• Lu Hede gave Zhang Lingshan a Qian Yuan Dao Jade Pendant, and Xue Dasao left him the Mist Devouring Evil Art before he teleported away and was attacked by a sinister wind.
• Zhang Lingshan refined mist to strengthen his body and Mansions, defeated Huai Sanniang, and advanced his Divine Consciousness and cultivation.
• After Zhang Lingshan entered the Basic Mist Realm, he reunited with Zhang Lingyu and Kou Guan, who helped him reach Flower Province and endure its Space Compression Force.

Zhang Lingshan entered Overlord Cave, rescued Han Ruier, and gained powerful body-tempering gains before draining the Red River and taking its Spirit Vein. After protecting the Chen Family from Huo Wuye, he pursued him toward Red River Valley, where demons gathered to confront Zhang Lingshan.

• Zhang Lingshan healed Snake Zhengming, cultivated with the Earth Spirit Marrow, and concealed his Life and Death Reincarnation Eye before traveling toward Overlord Province.
• Zhang Lingshan joined the Overlord Sect’s disciple selection, entered Overlord Cave with Gui Hong, and helped rescue Han Ruier from Huo Shaoqian and the Strange Wind Mist.
• Zhang Lingshan killed Huo Shaoqian, then refined Overlord Stones and explored the cave with Chen Xiangxue, Han Ruier, and Gui Hong.
