Blood Temple Assault Battle

As the Alliance, Horde, and Argent Crusade advanced along three separate routes, another battle was taking place in the fortress's middle levels: the Blood Temple sector.

The joint army of High Elves and Forsaken was likewise intercepted by the Council of Blood Princes, and a fierce encounter battle erupted in the lower hall.

The Council of Blood Princes consisted of Prince Valanar, Prince Taldaram, and Prince Keleseth. These three undead High Elves assisted Blood Queen Lana'thel in commanding the entire San'layn legion.

Their former kin had become their enemies, deepening the High Elves' hatred for the Lich King.

However, there was still a possible turning point. If the Lich King fell and Dark Queen Sylvanas successfully took his place, then in a sense, the San'layn elves would be liberated as well.

Thus, as another member of the Sindorei Alliance, Quel'Thalas had long since secretly declared its stance: it would fully support Sylvanas becoming the next Lich King, and all San'layn undead elves would become the Dark Queen's personal legion.

But for now, they still had to fight.
