Bavaria was no exception. The victors marched into this fairy-tale land, swaggering as they called themselves liberators.

On a small hill at the edge of the countryside, life remained peaceful and tranquil.

The townspeople were greatly surprised by the small manor that seemed to have appeared overnight atop that hill.

It was a three-story wooden house, with a wooden fence encircling the entire hill. More than a dozen cattle and sheep wandered leisurely across the lush grass within it.
