The attacker was a middle-aged Alliance lieutenant colonel. He had always been responsible for Stormwind City's security and administration, making him an experienced veteran in the department. If he kept at it for a few more years without any major incidents, promotion and a raise would have been guaranteed. By retirement, he could at least have snagged an honorary Grand Marshal title.

But this brother deeply understood that life was about making waves. Unsatisfied with a mundane existence, he resolutely threw himself into the ranks of those who stirred things up.
